Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Superior Double room is slightly smaller than Deluxe Single but equally comfortable and suitable for business traveller. Good work table and a comfortable sofa chair provide a relax environment for work and rest. FREE internet access through WIFI and LAN cable is provided. Bathroom with bath tub and shower cubicle are convenient for a nice hot bath or a quick hot shower. The room lightings are superb to set different ambience such as work, rest, night reading, watch TV, nite light...probably the best among the 3-star hotel in this area.

clean, convenient hotel
clean room and bath with comfortable bed. Conveniently located.

clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed with clean sheets. many tv channels. hotel is conveniently located near subway/train stations.
express bus from airport stops a street away from the hotel. taipei is relatively safe so i had no trouble crossing a street from the stop to the hotel.
all in all a good hotel that i would recommend to friends.
Travel tip:
Good to be armed with the Chinese name of the hotel for greater convenience.

Perfect location
Good service and location for business and tourist purpose

this is not my first time to stay in taiwan's hotel but this gave me the comfort and feel as home. the room is nice(coz stay in suite maybe???) and service all rounded are above standard. however, there are drawbacks of the whole period, the electricity control at room is weird as you cant select which light to be off and has to off the main switch when you want it to. secondly, the breakfast there is worst than ever to any hotel i stayed before. having said that, the rest is still good and i will be back.

Too expensive but worth the location.
7.7
location: 5 minutes away from shandao temple station
breakfast: food was okay but the cafeteria was so small that we need to wait for almost half an hour outside the cafeteria while sitting on the floor waiting for us to be sitted.
bldg: the facade was not welcoming. it's a "smoked" glass door and there's no signage about welcome hotel and we ended up asking people where is welcome hotel.
staffs: staffs were very friendly and accomodating.
rooms: we're surprised that rooms were tidy, smells good and very big rooms.
price: too expensive but worth the location.
Restaurant Tip:
Recommendation:
Try the buffet at W Hotel name of the Restaurant is Kitchen Table. Highly Recommended. (around per head)
Better to buy a one-day pass tickets for the Train & Bus rides (180 TWN)

Room was OK, lift reeks of a bad odor
4.3
It's easy to miss the entrance of the hotel, especially when the door is closed most of the time. I booked the room for my family, was intending to spend more quality time with them, but the hotel staff keep reminding us that no more than 2 persons were allowed in the room after 11pm. When we called them to report an issue with the toilet, the front desk reminded us that I have to leave, which was totally uninviting.
The room is OK, but the elevators reek off a very strong stale odor. The elevator is carpeted and the hotel should definitely invest some resources to have it cleaned.
The housekeeping staff, on the other hand, was extremely pleasant and friendly, and they even greeted and chatted with us when we checked out.

decent enough hotel between taipei main station (c. 10 min walk) and shandao temple - turn right out of the hotel, walk to the next road and turn left. continue walking to the next main road and the shandao temple (and it`s subway station) will be on your right (c. 3-4 mins walk. the walk is mostly covered...useful as it always seems to rain when i`m in taipei. you`re just a couple of stops from nightlife and shopping.
the hotel itself is a little dated, but the staff are efficient. room has room safe and free wi-fi internet. hotel has a couple of computers and an iron for use. buffet breakfast was more suited to asian tastes than western, but there was sufficient food and choice for most. it wasn`t my first choice hotel but location was better than expected and the small suite i stayed in was more than adequate for the five day stay. wouldn`t necessarily be my first choice of stay next time, but a perfectly adequate hotel, nonetheless.
Shopping Tip:
If it`s raining, pop down the subway line a couple of stops to Zhongxiao Fuxing - lots of restaurants within a few minutes of the station and a large Sogo dept. store, plus underground or covered shopping area.
