IS about 10 mins walk to the Ximen subway station. Rooms are quiet and sound proof noises from the cars cannot be heard.

Unexpected in both good and bad ways
Friendly staffs, Mos Burger right beside the hotel and 5 minutes walk to Ximending's shopping area.

When we first checked in and saw the room, The hotel is nicely situated in Ximending, just right across the hotel you can find a 7-11 and a 5-10 minutes walk to reach the MRT.
Long story short, reasonably comfortable and helpful staffs.

Good location but small rooms

Took a twin bedder. Room is quite small with cigarette smell lingering in the room as well as entire 6th floor, though the smell is not too heavy but as a non-smoker, it can be slightly uncomfortable.
there is a bus stop for airport shuttle near the hotel. must pre-book with the hotel recept in advanced. Otherwise by taxi to airport from hotel it is 1000 TWD.

The hotel locates at a very great location, easily to go around in Ximending area and reach public transportation. Room is comfortable and clean, however you might hear sound of water in the midnight, probably from the pipe or people upstairs.
Staffs are very helpful and friendly, will recommend travelers who look for a budgeted hotel in great location.

Hobbit sized bathroom
Location, location, location. Excellent. Close to MTR and Airport bus.

We all need to use the ablutions. The architect who designed these facilities wasn't thinking and surely would not have done the same in his own house! It is one thing to save space but this is surely going too far! Staff friendly and room well cleaned search day. I thought the Cafe was good for breakfast (only item I went), and would recommend it. I had trouble with the air conditioning-instructions would be helpful. Reasonably priced.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Get the A 21 bus from and to the Airport-$33 each way, need exact amount.

Plus: Hotel is close to Ximen Metro train, free WIFI, has bare essentials
Negative: Room is very small and old looking, staff do not speak fluent english (very poor minimal broken english), room had a wet patch upon entering so it kind've stank
The hotel does not have its English name advertised on the entrance... it only has the Taiwanese/Chinese name

Ximen Hotel
Great location, clean room and toilet, and wonderful customer service

The hotel was remarkable! The location was awesome, with MOS burger just next to the hotel (operating 24h daily), not to mention that you are right in the middle of the Ximending Square with the subway located just minutes away. Room service was excellent - room was always in tiptop condition.
