Brilliant hotel, loved the freebies!

yomi was a lovely little hotel, and the staff were very pleasant from the first meeting. free drinks and snacks available 24/7. western and eastern breakfast available in good quantities - just make sure you're down before 9:30 as they don't put out new dish after then. room was comfortable and big for the price and the bathroom was good, with a sauna/steam room shower - not that we needed that in taipei. location was good - 5 mins walk from mrt station and mostly undercover. it was about a 25 minute walk to the main train station. if you're coming on the airport bus, get off at the ambassador hotel stop - but you must request the bus stops by pressing the button. we didn't. the taxis from the train station are helpful too. altogether a good base for exploring the whole of taipei.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a very good Mexican restaurant very close to this - turn down the lane on the side of the hotel, and find the restaurant called Mayan Grill - good food, and if you're vegetarian like us, some veggie options and the ever sought after English menu.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed....

Very nice room. The service is excellent. The location is also very good. It is only two blocks away from the MTR station of Shuanglian.It is also very close to the airport bus station. Very satisfied with the three-day stay in the hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Free breakfast and afternoon tea. Also there is free self-help laundry and Wii for kids.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff
Friendly staff, hotel is near convenience stores and foodstores, 10 minutes from ShuangLian MRT

stayed here for 5nights. the room was slightly smaller than expected (it was smaller than in the photos). however the location was superb. it has a family mart located just 3 shops away from the hotel, and you can find a wide variety of food nearby the hotel. it is located about one street away from the famous "yong he dou jiang". as for the room, there was a jap-style bathing tub in the room, and also an individual sauna room in the toilet which can accommodate 2 pax. the room had two tv sets which was great for me. there was a great sselection of tv channels inclu local taiwanese shows and also channels like disney etc.
the staff were very friendly! the hotel also provided free snacks(a pckt of tidbits,2 instant cup noodles and 2 bottles of water) everyday. this is definitely a plus as not all hotels offers such service. overall i think this hotel is definitely a good choice!

10 minutes walk from mrt to this lovely hotel
near to subway, free snacks, reasonably sized room, friendly services

stayed here for roughly 5 nights and it was an amazing experience in taiwan. i slept peacefully throughout the whole night. personally mine was the VIP room, with a suna and a tub for me to soak in.
free wifi, friendly staff, free snacks and even breakfast
however the breakfast wasn't so great due to the little viarity they offer. however, do try the "ru ruo fan" just a street down from the hotel when you exit to the right, its fantastic. it's also close to the subway and many family mart near by!
and i think soundproofing needs to be improved, i can hear people outside the hallway from my room.
overall this hotel is great, with all the necessary equipments for travellers at quite a decent price. thumbs up to YOMI and their friendly staffs!

very very downtown hotel

near mrt line 1, so u can easy to travel in downtown such as go to gugong, shilin night mk, chiang kai shek mem. hall. etc..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:

a very nice hotel with good location, clean and tidy room, friendly service, and attention to details. we feel that this is a hotel who always bear in mind customer needs, and they pay much attention to details, and provide services which should satisfy most budget travellers.

stayed here twice during my trip in taiwan. this time was the last day of my trip. great service from the reception. allowed us to stay in the same room that we stayed during our first day. free snacks and cup noodles available for free in the room. free wifi with good speed.
