Clean and comfortable room. 5-6 min walk to the MRT. Enjoyed our stay. Free snacks and water, free business center (PCs with internet), breakfast ok. Close to food mart and if you like MOS Burgers, there's one 5 minutes away. Close to MRT which is required for me. There's also a restuarant (cafeteria style) a few doors down whhich was pretty good. Overall Taiwan food is made with more oil and grease so be careful. Would stay there again.

My wife and I liked the location, which was a 8 mins' walk from Shuanglian MRT station. The room was adequately spacious with a very comfortable bed. The counter staff are very friendly and proficient in English. Our room had wi-fi support and a private safe box which worked well for us too. Rooms situated at lower floors and nearing the front face of the hotel can be noisy at night due to the traffic. No issues with those located towards the back. Gym is small and has poor ventilation. If you are really looking forward to get a good work out, then dun pin your hopes on this one. Conveniently located to get around Taipei in the day, and well furnished for a good rest at night.

good location, very kind staffs, clean room, clean and enough spacious room, great hospitality,reasonable price We choose this hotel because of lots of positive comments in Agoda. After staying this hotel, we do agree all of them and would love to recommend this hotel for those who want to stay with reasonable price and do not need too fancy hotel. It is located in center of Taipei and very convenient to anywhere by MRT or Taxi. You can take a walk to various local restaurants and morning market. Even though the free transfer service within city by their limousine had been discontinued by the end of October, they started to offer free “Nintendo Wii” service which you can enjoy at the basement during your stay. Also they rent various mobile charger for free. The owner always keeps smiling and we did feel his great hospitality and utmost effort to offer the comfortable stay for his guests. We will definitely come back to this hotel whenever we visit Taipei again.
Nightlife Tip : If you get sore foot, we recommend the foot massage in next building (2nd floor). Their price is also cheaper than the other ones and you can enjoy professional Taiwanese foot massage!

Laundry service, room cleaniless and tidiness. Good location Breakfast definitely needs to be improved. The dining area needs renovation The location of this hotel is very close to Shuang Lian station. So can take bus from taoyuan airport to shuanglian station. Walk around 2 mins!!!! VERY CLOSE.
The room is quite good (considering cheap price). Not to mention the free shuttle service to city (quote of once every day).
The staff seem to speak fluent Japanese -> based on observation only.

The room is very clean with big 37" LCD TV. Lobby has smoking smell which did not impress me at first coming in. The room is very nice and clean. It's not very big but the size is good for 2 persons. I was very impressed with high-pressure shower in bathroom. I was very happy when I washed my hair though. The cleanliness of the bathroom is a plus. However, the hotel should improve looking of front desk. I don't like smoking smell in the lobby area. I was so worried about the hotel when I first came into the lobby. Luckily the room is nice and clean.

Breakfast choice not enough, food not good. Location very convenient, which nearby the train station. I like the little market nearby the train station. The fruit offered in my room is not good and breakfast is not good as well. I didn't receive my 2nd day breakfast vouchers from the hotel staff although I didn't want the breakfast anymore.

location, room facilities For the price I paid and taking into consideration the general pricing of hotels in Taipei, the lobby exactly what I imagined it to be like but not the room. I was very pleasantly surprised by the state of the room at Yomi Hotel. The room apart from being slightly on the small side could easily pass off as a 4-star hotel with its 37" flat screen TV, newly renovated bathroom equipped with steambath, free wifi and free items eg. full toiletries and snacks !
The breakfast room is pretty basic. There are however free access to computers with internet connection and even self service laundrette.
Had a very pleasant stay especially its close proximity to MRT station and food stalls nearby.
Travel tip : check out the market near the MRT station in the morning for an early morning walk / experience.

Great location close to MRT stop
Nice assortment of complementary snacks and bottled water Workout room is lacking. Breakfast was good but lacked variety from one day to the next Overall a very nice hotel at a reasonable price. Would recommend to future guests. Other a 5-10 minute walk to MRT stop.

2. Staff (management, reception,cleaning & catering) were happy and helpful at all times.

6. Washing machine, dryer, iron, gym, massage chair all available at no cost.
7. Business - 4 computers available with printers.
8. Hotel shuttle bus available to anywhere in the city at no additional cost.
9. Excellent location - close to MRT, restaurants & shopping etc.
10.Icecream, tea, coffee and cake for morning and afternoon tea was available in the breakfast room 24hrs a day.
11.Air conditioning and control was excellent.
Breakfast was adequate but the precooked food could be kept hotter. Whilst the Yomi hotel is not a large 5 star hotel we found it to be an extremely friendly one to stay in. We have stayed in many many hotels around the world from 5 star to budget and we have never found better facilities included in the room charge. We would not consider staying anywhere else in Taipei.
Hotel Feature Tip : Yomi Hotel was one of the best valued and happy hotels we have ever stayed in.

- near restaurants and mtr (10 minute walk) We enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was okay but needs a little more variety. Hotel staff was very nice. The hotel shuttle was very useful in going to any part of the city. And they can arrange local tours instantly.

Good value, friendly, clean, helpful. free bicycle use, internet, massage chair, and wii. Breakfast was leaning more towards the eastern style, but still plenty of bread and cereal etc if that is not what you are up for. We came from a bad place the night before, and were immediately impressed by the hotel for the very good value prices. The standard room included a big bed, big t.v. with cable channels, large clean bathroom with quite a large bath and everything included and restocked the next day, free snacks and clean water and they even brought us a fruit bowl on the second night! Most of the staff can speak either English or Japanese very competently, were always helpful when we asked for information, and we also borrowed two bicycles to ride around to some night markets from the hotel. Great value, very nice place to stay.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel has a free car service, if you ask them 2 hours ahead (for trips between 8am and 8pm) they will drive you somewhere in the city and then pick you up again at a particular time. (1 use a day)

free wi-fi and computer use, free laundry, many tv channels to choose from, very friendly staff, free breakfast, shuttle to take hotel guests to different places in Taipei and offer of free shuttle ride to airport if staying for at least 7 days, very close to metro station would have liked to have signs at breakfast of different food items for guests not accustomed to Asian food/produce. Yomi Hotel is a great deal for travelers not familiar with Taipei. Staff is very friendly. They offer a shuttle which will take guests to different locations around Taipei, but since the hotel was within a few minutes to a metro stop (Shuanglian station) I never had to use it. The hotel is also near a 7-11 and other food stores. Travelers with many/large suitcases beware. The hotel room is clean but is also on the smaller side (during my stay I was in a double) and those with large or many suitcases may find it hard to find room for them or bring them up in the elevator (there are two in the adjacent building where my room was in), and may take some time to use the Japanese-style tub and shower. Another perk is that the room I stayed in had a small kitchen area nicely hidden by a folding door with a sink in case guests would want to prepare something in their room.
Travelers should note that there are two buildings for hotel rooms and that the dining area and laundry room is in the building with the lobby.

Friendly service and sweet receptionist with helping attitude Break fast to be improved with more varieties to suit Asians and Westerners The Yomi hotel is centrally located close to main high speed and metro station. It is also close to Shunglian metro station walking distance. There are family mart and 7/11 shops around and also Pitza shop. The hotel staff can arrange for all types of day and night tour with short notice.
The shuttle bus is very use full for newcomers who find difficult to converse with drivers etc
The royal room rented by us is well carpeted, have a sauna and tub inside room, 1st time I had this luxry in my life. The room is bit tight but had two large LCD TV with many channels to choose from
Yomi hotel is worth the money spent
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Easily available tourist bus facilities and closeness to Metro station

- big road to cross with no shelter The hotel is near Shuanglian station. Accessible and convenient if you wish to travel to shi lin night market. it is also two stations away from the taipei main station. The hotel has shuttle service to any part of taipei so it is very convenient. all you have to do is to book two hours in advance and they will bring you to where you would like to go. Staff is also very friendly and there is a convenience stall next to the hotel. thus if you need to get anything it is very convenient.
