The hotel is near to night market 8.3 The hotel toilet is a bit old but functioning well as the tiolet flush is strong, so it's not a problem. It is within walking distance to the night market. Within the night market, you can go to carrefour which is on the basement. There is no wii-fi in the room and only available in the lobby,
Gabriela L. Groups South Africa, December 25, 2012	Very adequate hoel Helpful staff, clean room, shower 8 I do not know Taidong very well so I can't say too much about the location. It is in a little alley just south of the Taidong Hospital, which is a bit tricky to find, but keeps it quiet. There were enough restaurants within walking distance for us to have a pretty good choice of meal (we went for a tasty Japanese meal a couple of blocks down Zhonzheng.) The room was large and clean and had a spacious enclosed shower in the bathroom, which is unusual for hotels of this level in Taiwan. Like most Taiwan hotels of this level the beds cater to Asian tastes of hardness, which many Westerners (including my father and I) find too hard. The breakfast similarly catered to Asian tastes but was of good quality nonetheless. I could not get the Internet (wired or wireless) to work in my room, but the staff were helpful and friendly, and I could get good WiFi in the lobby area.

The breakfast is average. The service of the staff is alright. The cleanliness is average. One problem is that there are too many steps in the bathroom - there is the danger of kicking and falling down.
