My parents and I really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Chihpen. The spa was wonderful, the room was comfortable and the food was great! The staff was nice and spoke English.

I and my family enjoyed our stay in Hotel Royal Chihpen. The indoor (incl. in-room) and outdoor hot pring experience was really exciting, together with variety of entertainment facilities, like billiards and etc.

We had a great time at this hotel. It is a bit of the main attraction but there are plenty to do in the hotel. The food was good as well!
Hotel Feature Tip:
They have shuttle that goes to Taidung once a day.

It was a great stay and the food at the restaurant where we had our buffet breakfast and buffet dinner was great! It had a very wide variety and the quality was great too.
The hotel is situated about 1/2 hour by cab from the train station, and it costs nearly 600 NT to take a cab there. It is difficult to get to places from the hotel due to its location. I guess is appeals to those who love hot spring baths. The hotel room itself also has a private hot spring Spa.
Travel tip:
Ideal only for those who love hot spring spa.

This hotel was recommended from my aunt who was a long time customer of this hotel. One of the amenities for this hotel was its hot spring. It was a wonderful experience! My kids were having a great time. The swimming pool was very entertaining for my whole family. I see lots of people are so relax and comfy they practically wear their robe and slipper walking around the hotel. It was told that since this hotel was run by Japanese management, it is their custom.
