If you are looking for an idyllic retreat, with talked about sunsets and sceneary, then Taitung could be the place for you. The hotel offers moderately prices accommodation right in the middle of town. Guests can check out the Chipen Hot Springs, and even make a trip to the Green Island, which has on of only three salt-water hot springs in the world. Other than that the city also has mountains and beaches where guests can indulge in adventure sports or simply relax. Please note that the hotel does not offer complimentary toiletries. But on the other hand, there is complimentary Internet access, as well as airport pic-up available to geusts.

right at the middle of the city center, it is near the main bus station and all the tourist spot.
Room is in old style, quite dark and the room I stayed has no window.
The people working there, they are very friendly and helpful. They gave us many tips about sightseeing in the city. Also, they provide free bike for you to tour around in the city, it is really nice and warm service.
Travel tip : The hotel is in the middle of the city center, you can try to ride a bike to visit the coastline and the old rail track...they are so nice.
For food, there is a famous noodle shop just one block away from the hotel and you can find the queue is lining up all day.
Also, don't miss to relax at the cafe next to the coastline!

Helpful staff,
convenient location (inside a commercial area and near the bus terminus).
Clean bed, furniture and bathroom.
Free internet service at lobby, though there is only one computer.
Though the furniture, facilities and bathroom is clean, they are a little bit old. The room door is thin and there is a gap between the floor and the door, hence sound can easily get inside the room.
The staff of this hotel is quite helpful, but there are not many brochures about local sightseeing places, transports, activities or food available in the hotel. The location is good, in the heart of the town, food is everywhere around the corner. This is a good budget choice.
