With just 12 themed villas, this hotel brings a tropical setting in the historic city of Ayutthaya. Spend a day visiting the ruins of the Ayutthaya Historical Park, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, and do take in a boat ride along the Chao Phraya as well. And if you are fit, then you might opt for the bicycle tour of the city and her ruins. When in the area, you should also find time to explore the Bang-Pa-In Palace, and the nearby Bangsai Arts Center, an excellent place to pick up some excellent souvenirs. Baan Thai House allows visitors to Thailand to spend more than just a few hours in the historic old capital.

Brand new thai family run bed & breakfast with western influence.
A little bit outside Ayutthaya downtown, nevertheless fast reach by taxi or tuk-tuk
Two sisters who are running the place are wonderful people and speak fluently English. Great pool surrounded by garden and little lake. Clean and comfortable rooms/villas with two showers (regular & tropical). Nice breakfast. Modern standard with partially thai house architecture. Would definetely stay there again. Beautiful setting, lovely people, very relaxing
It would be nice if they were to provide tea/coffee making facilities in ther room and a hair dryer.
We wanted a relaxing get a way and thats exactly what we got. Very peaceful, very nice owners and staff a lovely villa over looking a small lake in a picturesque surounding. All together a very enjoyable stay and I would definately go back.

The hotel is located at walking distance across the train station railway.
They offered bicycles for free and always responded to our request with a smile. We have been floored by everyone kindness.
The room was very nicely decorated but the toilet only separated by a wall could use at least a curtain.
We have had such an excellent time that we have booked a room again for Christmas right away.
It is a hotel designed with relaxation and well being in mind.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Instead of asking the hotel for an expensive tuk tuk, it's best to walk back to the train station (ask hotel staff for direction), get across the river by boat and rent a bicycle. From there, most of the historical park is accessible.
Also, from the main road, on the right there's a round about with a chedi. Going straight will lead to an old and still active temple. It is at biking distance.

Enter Ayutthaya from Asia Road (coming from Bangkok observe the Lotus Store sign), drive past two traffic lights until you see the big Jedi then turn right at the roundabout. Drive past a small canal bridge, turn left into the first soi (about 300 meters from the Chedi) and guests will see signs to Baan Thai House.
