Good hotel at reasonable cost

I have stayed with my wife and two kids.
Two singel beds are enough for us after we connected them to sleep.
They did not ask for extra charge for breakfast and they have very nice thai seafood restaurant next to the hotel.
If you do not look for luxury hotel and you have car, you can select this hotel with satisfying.

a 4 star hotel but not 4 star service
when asked for tourist information said they didn t have any
staff dont seem to know what they are doing especially the coffee shop/restaurant
leave it out good eating places nearer !

just walk a few minutes to the local ferry to cross to the old island city.

We made a stopover here on our road trip heading south. The hotel location is is just by the bridge across from the old city. The room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was above average and quite good in its selection. This hotel was hosting a banquet while we were there and it was a bit noisy and carpark was full and double parked. A bit of an inconvenience if you are travelling with your own transport as carpark space seems a bit limited.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The main road leading across the bridge can be quite busy with traffic and hence a bit noisy. Try to get a room away from this and preferably facing the river.

Good hotel, modern features

This is probably as good a hotel as any in Ayuttaya. Well situated on the river. Ask for a room facing the view. There are a few restaurants. We ate at the one outside,, and the Thai food was excellent in a beautiful setting. we had requested a nonsmoking room but our room, which was indeed designated nonsmoking, had a strong smell of stale tobacco. The hotel was full, so we could not change rooms, but the staff was concerned and housekeeping came in and sprayed an effective room freshener. They said it was a problem caused by a guest who had not obeyed the nonsmoking rule,but our thought was that the smell was strong enough so that the housekeeping staff should have taken care of it before we ever arrived. Good breakfast and well located for sightseeing at the ruins.

I had initially planned to stay only 1 night there but eventually spent 2 nights. I liked the spacious, air conditionned ground floor and room. There is a snooker room and a fairly big swimming pool.A few machines in the fitness room need fixing though.It remains open until 10pm!
The receptionists are very helpful and friendly.
It is within walking distance (2mn) from the train station and the ferry crossing to the 'island' and the ruins.
Good breakfast but not all staff there were helpful...
Nice view on the river and Wats and stupas in the distance.

Quiet night and nice view on a high floor room not facing the big road. It would not be as good if we had a low floor room facing the bridge road. 5 mn walking from the train station or the boat crossing the river to go downtown. You can also cross the nearby bridge by feet or with a tuk tuk. Rooms could be renovated but they are OK for this part of Thailand and the service is efficient. Breakfast and restaurants could be missed.
Anyway other hotels in Ayutthaya do not seem to be better, and we were happy to stay in this one for four nights.

i must say that this hotel is nice and comfy at the given price. It comes with cosy rooms and the staffs are really nice. It is definitely nice to explore this small town which is not far from Bangkok!
