Not very efficient staff. Hotel having a conference so their focus was on that. Dirt and rubbish around the pool. Endless boring fight with Agoda about the rooom rate. Horrile breakfast. Very slow about making up the room (after one in the afternoon).

Although located very central and right on the river bank, this hotel did not quite match the relatively low price. Many things were "out of order", there were dirty dishes with leftover food in the corridor for two days, and the pool was dirty. In general the hotel was not well kept. We payed for a bed for a one year old, but the hotel had no cribs.

The best features of this hotel were its location and the very large bedrooms. The rooms were good but the whole hotel is looking very tired.
The staff were not that helpful, the swimming pool was bad and the service from the dining room was awful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There are plenty of attractions around the old city of Ayutthaya in the form of temples and ruins. Plenty of traffic on the river which is interesting.

breakfast is very ordinary, staff are not very good with the english language. i think you can do a lot better than this hotel for the price.

Do not go if you do not speak Thai

If you do not speak Thai do not go there, during the 3 days of my stay I did not meet any staff who speaks English. And no effort was made to solve that problem. This is surely a hotel which caters for big Thai marriages and conventions but not for an average traveller who wants service for his/her money. When I checked in I got a different room then I had booked. There was no other room available but after some telephone calls, most probably to Agoda, there suddenly was the right room available. I stayed 3 days and for 2 days I had to ask the reception late in the afternoon to clean the room. Western breakfast is very basic but Thai breakfast is plentyfull. Later on I stayed 3 days at the Krungsri River Hotel and there they know what the word service means.
