Close to the airport. Nice Rooms. Good Breakfast. Nice Pool and Gym. Not that it's expected but it didn't matter that we were on our honeymoon. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. The rooms were nice and the beds were huge. We didn't go swimming but the pool area is very nice.

Very good location for Bangkok Hospital.More accessable than most hotels to the BKK airport (new). Very little in the way of eating, shopping or entertainment near the hotel - requires a taxi ride. This is a very well run and very welcoming hotel with first rate service.Many of the guests appear to be outpatients at the adjacent Bangkok International Hospital which is almost walking distance. However the hotel will provide complementary transport to the hospital.Breakfast is adequate - not exciting - but then you don't go to BKK just for the breakfasts. The pool and gym are first rate albeit that they are little used.

Clean, nice, friendly and helpful staff, close to BKK Hospital, nice pool area If you are unlucky and get 6 floor, there is just 1 elevator serving this floor and if you want to go to swimming pool/gym, you can not use this elevator(you have to go down to lobby, cross whole lobby and take another elevator). It is definitely place to stay if you are visiting Bangkok Hospital(is just 8mins walk) and hotel provides free drop-off/pick-up anytime you need. It is good standard hotel but little bit more expensive comparing to some other similar standard hotels in Bangkok, especially considering its horrible location if you want to explore the city. To nearest BTS station it will take you by taxi 45mins-1hour in rush-hour, 20mins off-peak despite it is not far. But otherwise nice place to stay.
Hotel Feature Tip : Take a free hotel ride if you are going to Bangkok Hospital.

A very good hotel. Staff is very polite and helpful. Staff's English is up to the standard. The breakfast is enjoyable. The rooms are clean and cosy. You need transportation to get out to the main arteries of the city, but staff is always ready to get a taxi for you. I liked very much my stay at this hotel. I appreciated its cleanliness as well as its dedicated staff. It is a quiet hotel, although there is live entertainement (pianist) in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel to those who want to have relaxation and also to those who need medical services. Tha world class Bangkok Hospital is just a couple of minutes away or within a short walking distance. I stayed in this hotel several times and would come back again. Also, there is a small brand new building with a special spa-oriented concept for those who look for more relaxation and modern decor.

Expensive spa The A-One Bangkok is a modern hotel located 30 minutes from Bangkok city centre. Staff are fantastic with advice and tips for maximizing your stay in the city. They are happy to check and reserve restaurants for you and advise you which attractions are worth while. They can also easily get you a taxi to any location you desire. The rooms are well equipment, very modern and clean. The only problem is the noisy air con system that you will find in most Asian hotels.
Nightlife Tip : The best view in Bangkok is from the Lebua Bar & Restaurant on the 52nd floor in the State Tower. The view and location is breath taking, like something from a movie set.

Everything beautiful rooms a little to far away from mrt bts I loved this hotel in many ways except 1 its to far from mrt or bts and traffic in BKK can be very bad and boring.
This hotel is new clean and great room i love the view from bed to shower when u get the room you know what i mean.

Difficult to get public transportation (taxi and bus) Basically this hotel is good for relax and appointed who is love quite location. So hotel is far from Main Street but it is clean and also service is good.
Travel tip : If you need to go to down town, please prepare it 30 to 45 minutes for leaving from hotel. You need to prepare for having public transportation in erlier.

I used the exercise facility. It was 350 baht after a 30% discount. More then I wanted to pay for an hour of exercise but it was air conditioned and with good equipment. You get the services of a personal trainer with that. I did not want any help, so they left me alone.

Overall a nice hotel with friendly staff offering a good standard of accomodation and facilities. However, I did find it closer to the airport than the tourist attractions or city centre. Saying that it only cost me 100-150 bht each way travelling in. I only stayed here for 4 nights so this was not much of a problem. May suit the buisness traveller more.
Travel tip : Nice restaurants can be found in the Petchburi Road area
