Airport Suite Don Muang Hotel, Bangkok

I stayed in a Deluxe room. The furnishing of the room was old and the hallways not clean. In my opinion this is not a three star hotel. However, the front staff speak English and are very professional and friendly. I would stay here as an overnight stay if going to Don Mueang airport the next day. The check from the restaurant was wrong in several ways, but I didn't bother to complain.

I like the hotel, nice and clean, friendly staff, good near to don muang airport, and god with transport from hotel to airport.

Fit for purpose - quick overnight stay & very early start

Even though we spent only a half day (2pm-6am) in the hotel, we had to change rooms. In the first room the AC did not work well, a service person came to recharge the AC unit - it worked better for about 3 hours, then quit working again. After looking at 2 more rooms, we chose another one where the AC was better, but the toilet did not flush. They sent another service person to fix it, but he only did a patch job. The toilet would flush, but ran continuously overnight. We had a 6:45 shuttle to the airport, so went to breakfast at 6:00. The restaurant was deserted even though breakfast was supposed to be served from 5:30. We had to wake up the person at the front desk to ask him about breakfast. Finally they got someone to serve us at 6:30. Overall, not a good experience - not one we would do again.

Near from small airport

Had booked this hotel since the Thaifex- World of Food Asia Expo was located very near. But the moment we checked-in, it gave us a gloomy feeling. The hotel seemed very deserted. More disappointment was in store when we entered the room. The Air conditioner didn't work efficiently. The bathrooms were very ordinary. the room was pretty noisy. Restaurant had very limited choice of vegetarian food.

There is a good shuttle bus to Don Muang. Check if it is still going first.
