Clean nice room, good TV picture. It´s easy to get the impression this hotel is very central. Wrong!
The man at the reception reminded me of the young man in the Michael Douglas-movie, who wouldn´t serve him a breakfast. It was 1 minute over time.
Was told that No breakfast was included in this price. (Right! My mistake)
NO Ibis hotel have ever served breakfast as a part of the deal. Wrong! However I, my fiance and daughter could have there small buffet if we added 600 bht.
I declined, mostly because of his politeness, but very triumphant smile and attitude. We checked out 1 day early.
Do I need to say that we were denied any refund for the day we didn´t use? That on new years eve, when all hotels are booked and it´s hard to find a room. I wonder if............?

Price is relatively cheap and transportation is very convenient. Hotel room is relatively small but it is good enough for the rate. The hotel is quite bare bone but the staff is helpful and friendly. Bus stop is just outside the hotel main entrance and very convenient. However, the hotel does not have a swimming pool and the rooms are quite small. For the rate that it charges, it is good enough.
Shopping Tip : Bus stop outside the hotel can take you to most shopping districts quite conveniently.

The bus routes to the major shipping areas are right in front of the hotel, e.g. 73, 204 they bring you to Pratunam, Central World, Siam Square/Paragon/Discovery, MBK, etc. They do not keep luggage overnight. This is my 3rd stay at this hotel in 2008. It is a very basic and economic hotel but it provides me with the convenience. The bus routes to the major shipping areas are right in front of the hotel, e.g. 73, 204 they bring you to Pratunam, Central World, Siam Square/Paragon/Discovery, MBK, etc. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. Their English is limited but is sufficient during my stay.
Shopping Tip : Take the bus routes 73, 73N, or 204 to the major shipping areas are right in front of the hotel, , e.g. Pratunam, Central World, Siam Square/Paragon/Discovery, MBK, etc, for just 12 Baht.

Close to shopping and food. Also a great place to get to the mini buses if you're connecting to other towns. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has lots of small restaurants and bars surrounding it - though they are much more expensive then restaurants and and bars in other areas. Room was clean and bigger than we had expected. We didn't try the food services. If you are getting a mini bus to the south, the bus stop is only a short walk away, near the Victory monument.

Wonderful service and always with a smile. No room service late at night. It was my first time in Bangkok.....I felt at ease from the very first step I took in to the hotel..
The room was lovely and clean and was clean to a high standard every day. There was a great choice of food all day and I was always served with warmth smile. Checking in and out was very easy and very quick. The hotel always provided good information for wherever you want to go in Bangkok. I felt very safe and welcome throughout my stay and I will be recommending this hotel to my friends and I will stay there again when I return to Bangkok next year 2009.

Great service, good location, friendly staff and good food I found this hotel was a perfect hotel to stay at if you wanted to be closer to Siam Square and the shopping centres. 20 mins away from the hustle of Khao San Road, this area is quieter but offers a great deal. The hotel was great, rooms were comfortable and clean and staff were always onhand to help. The breakfast had a great selection and the restaurant also offered a good selection of food.

Very clean and spacious room.
Hotel staff very friendly. bit of a walk from train station Great chain hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. We were able to add an extra bed for a friend. Seven eleven store right next door, which was good for grabbing breakfast on the run. Close to night markets. Not far to walk to the train station which is very convenient. Overall i would recommend this hotel for young travellor and families.

Its just what you get, staff are nice and all too willing to help.
It's a nice hotel if you are on your own. I would not stay there if with family. Staff are willing to help all the time. Rooms are a good size as well.
Shopping Tip : It's an easy walk to train to go to siam or just 10 mins to walk there.

The location is most suitable for bus to many shopping area. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel, and we can go to Pratunam, World Center, Siam Square, MBK shopping Center, China Town,
and Silom by bus to from the hotel. During the peak hour, hot water was not supplied. All the staff are friendly.
Shopping Tip : Central World is within 10 minutes bus ride, and
we can walk to Siam area from there using walk deck for 7-8 minutes.

the hotel is close to the city center by foot or by bts. its easy to get out of the city to as the main roads are close by. no weakness for teh hotel its what ibis hotels are we would stop at this hotel once more. its easy to get to and from places. the area its is in is safe not to many poeple about like the rest of the hotels in bkk

Very good location, close to the shopping center and airport.
The room is a bit small, but it's all OK. Excellent location, 2 stops by bus to the shopping center (Central, Big C...).
Not far to the air port and the Grand Palace.
The working staff there are very very nice.
The room is a bit small, but compare with the price and location, it's all OK.
It's a good choice for budget travelers.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There's great massage shop at the 1st floor of Big C, easy to find.
You must try back massage, very good, besides the Grand Palace, this is the other impressive thing for me about Bangkok.

Not easy to find the first time. I always have business or travel to BKK 3-5 times per year. There are more than 10 hotels in BKK that i have stayed, i think i will put this hotel into my best choice list. If you want to save money but keep the quality, here is one of the good choices to recommend. But it's not easy to find the hotel for the first time, after that, you will find the location is perfect!

Strategic point and the welcoming is so good. This is the second time that i stayed here. I really impress in the reception and the strategic place. Actually it's the valuable price to stay because it's near all the center point of Bangkok such as victory monument, Central World, Paragon and also has the bus stop in front of the hotel. You can take toll directly to airport. It's really valuable to stay here. Just only the hotel is not so new. but I also suggest to stay here if your budget is not so much.

The room was very nice and good When i wanted to stay more days they wanted more money but if i booked over internet then i got the same good price Very Good and nice, the rooms was clean and i got a nice welcome from the people and the hotel was very close to the big market and close to many others things like restaurants, massage and only 10 minutes walk to the skytrain.

Ibis hotel is quite clean and has good facility.
The price is not so expensive. electric kettle does not work. As a whole, the hotel is quite good but not so convenient regarding transportation. It takes 15 minutes or so from the BTS station Victory Monument.
Nightlife Tip : You can go to Silom Area by buses such as No.77, 514 and 504.
