Warm friendly staff especially bell service.Friendly wait staff.Very good breakfast choice, room very clean and neat.
Business centre- i need to print out something and the printer out of paper, i couldnt get anybody to help me. The lady on duty that supposed to be there was no where to be seen. Dispite informing front counter that i am coming down to cheak out i was still made to wait long, express cheak out counter will be good.
Amari Atrium is the fourth hotel i stayed during my 10 days visit in Bangkok.Cheak in was prompt and smooth. The staff very helpfull with my computer connections as i couldnt connect it to the hotel wireless connections. One particular staff actually follow me to the restaurant and while i was enjoying my refreshing welcome drink, she actually kneel down beside me, with my laptop on her lap, starts clearing all the other wireless network that was stored in my computer. Without her help i will never realise that actually for each hotel i stayed, their wireless connections is stored in my computer.
Also as i was travelling alone, the staff has been very helpfull taking a photo of me. Not just one but a couples in the different background. I will be back!!!!!
Shopping Tip : I like the 7 eleven shop down the road, one will never have to worry about basic stuff that we forgotten to pack. Just 50 meter fm the hotel and its cheap too

Friendly and helpful staff
Comfortable rooms
Excellent breakfast
Small pool
Limited choice of restaurants in the area
Away from main tourist area
We have stayed at this hotel so many times that we are recognised and greeted by many of the staff. The hotel staff are always polite and helpful and in case of a problem will always do their best to help.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed - having been upgraded previously from standard, I would not say the additional cost is worthwhile.
The location lets it down as a tourist destination, being away from the main tourist hot spots, though a free minibus is provided, and taxis are cheap. For the more adventurous, the underground is close by and the canal bus (very cheap!) runs behind the hotel. This is a largely business / residential area and restaurants outside the hotel are few. Best bet is to take a taxi to the tourist haunts and eat there, or join the locals and try pot luck eating on the street.

The service is amazing. The rooms are clean and verging on luxurious. If you get upgrade it is in the lap of luxury.
It is a walk from public transport. There isn't that much happening there. It is a safe area though.
The Amari Atrium is a great deal. the service is over the top. The entire staff is looking out for you. If you are travelling back and forth through Bangkok they will hold onto the bags of stuff you don't need for all of your trip. I stored my snowboard there while travelling through SE Asia until I left for Japan. The food is amazing but priced about the same as in Canada. The breakfast is worth getting through Agoda. Facilities are great and they really make you feel like a VIP. the last night I was upgraded to the top suite for no reason in particular. It is a little far from the the action but there is no shortage of transport in Bangkok so I wouldn't let that deter you.
Restaurant Tip : If you get up early you can grab a bunch of early morning breakfast snacks from the vendors on the street. All the local people are grabbing something before work. Great way to try the local food.

great spacious rooms
very helpful staff
good leisure facilities
Traffic outside the hotel
All in all this is a great hotel to stay at if you are looking for a good value, high quality hotel. The only slight issue is location as if you need to get a taxi during rush hour you will sit in traffic for 25 minutes plus outside the hotel. Apart from that it is a fantastic hotel, it has a nice pool on the 4th floor and breakfast is very good with a huge choice. The other big selling point is the helpfulnness of the staff, they could not do enough to help. Lastly on our return to the hotel after a trip to Chiang Mai, they upgraded us because we were returning guests which was a nice touch.
Hotel Feature Tip : Free wireless internet access downstairs. If you connect in your room through broadband you have to pay.

not rush hours, convenient to airport
rush hours, go to airport, you need 20 mins to return to right direction. a little old.
the decoration is a little old. If you want to go to city center, it's a little far. You can't find MRT easy, and you can't get information from information table because they will suggest you to take taxi directly. When you come, you find it's quick to arrive hotel through high way. While when you go back to airport, you find you need to prepare more times because it costs a lot of time only return to right direction. Breakfast and service is Ok. We always find this in Thailand.

Excellent friendly service, huge fitness center and nice little relaxing pool.
A bit far from nearest MRT station, about 10 minute walk.
I've stayed in a lot of Amari hotel's in Bangkok and this one doesn't disappoint. I stayed in a non smoking floor room 615 with a view of the pool below. It was clean and room was quite big. Breakfast in the morning was pretty good and satisfying. Do be aware of the crowd of taxi touts near the entrance of the hotel. They're most likely up to no good. Overall I like this hotel.

Clean and big rooms; friendly service personnel
Away from the shopping malls and the interesting tourist spots..... but it is still accessible to these places because the hotel provides free shuttle service to the silom-siam area where malls are located.... taxis can also be flagged anytime near the hotel (the friendly hotel personnel will actually call the taxis for you)
I stayed for 6 days at Amari Atrium with 2 friends. I enjoyed my stay there because the room was very clean and spacious. I reserved a deluxe room but since the hotel was fully-booked when I arrived, the front desk upgraded me to a room at the executive suite. The room they gave us had twin beds, a flat TV, and a table with a fax machine and some of the basic office supplies (they supplies provided were more complete than what I had in my office.. LOL).
The pillows were fluffly and the sheets smelled freshly washed. The first thing you will notice upon entering the hotel is the lemony scent from the lobby to the elevators to the hallways up to your rooms.
There are some eating places near the hotel... one right across the street and a few more to the right and left of the hotel. I havent's tried those though because I always found myself in other parts of the City during dinner time.
I will definitely recommend this hotel if you don't plan to stay too close to the shopping malls or the temples.

outdoor pool
buffet breakfast
Nice hotel, good access to town and to the airport, comfortable, clean and staff friendly . Free internet available and outdoor pool a bonus. Buffet breakfast is good if a little processed. Only downside to hotel is that there are few amenities and things to do in immediate surrounding area - taxis/bus' are reuired to get anywhere.

Service, friendly, safe location, quiet.
Move the spa away from the exhaust smell from the boat taxis. The pool bar offers lots of things but serves very little from the bar. A simple frozen drink took 20 plus minutes.
Overall for business travel the hotel was affordable, the breakfast buffet is well done and the prices for food in the hotel are very reasonable.Proximity to transportation is OK. Best to just take a cab from hotel to stations if there from June to August. The hotel is very clean, and again i cant say enough about the great staff! For any shortcomings the hotel may have the staff more than make up for it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Bangkok as a great value.
Shopping Tip : Take the hotels advice on where to have clothes made. I had several suits, shirts made and it was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had!

Service and price and location and the pool and fitness area and jacuzzi. The bar on the second floor. Good shower pressure.
Unsightly area in front and side of hotel.
I will stay at this hotel again when in Bangkok. The friendly, professional, and helpful staff was beyond customer expectations especially Mayu Uchino and Praew at entrance of the hotel. The price, location, and service at this hotel is impeccable. I enjoyed the spacious rooms and the great pool and fitness area and jacuzzi and of course the massage services. The bar on the second floor has good atmosphere and very friendly staff as well.

Value for money hotel. The staff was very serviceminded. Swimmingpool was very nice with good sun conditions. I have been visiting many different hotels in BKK, and this is the best I`ve ever experienced. I had some problems with taxi drivers understanding where the hotel was - so bring the adress if you are going to take taxi.

Large rooms, very airy and well lit
Good spread for breakfast
On New Petchaburi Road, not Sukhumvit or Silom
Fittings show signs of wear and tear
Took a Deluxe Room on the 20th floor. The room was large, airy and well-lit. The mini-bar was overpriced in comparison to the room rate. The hotel seems to handle a lot of air crew, which is perhaps why breakfast is served as early at 5 am. The breakfast spread was large and had a lot of variety, including Indian fare. The hotel also seemed popular with Indian tourists and package tour operators. The biggest handicap is the location - New Petchaburi Road is mundane in comparison to Sukhumvit Road.
