We check in was triple share booking, but change to twin share booking with breakfast. We advised the front desk for the change without requesting refund. The front line lady sent us to level 7 non-smoking room. Open the lift, the level was smelly, in the room, that was an inter-connecting room, seems to me next door kept opening throughout the night, and the water pipe was so noisy that we couldn't sleep all night long. We request to change room the next day, a very helpful staff let us change to level 5, which is a much cleaner, fresher, and newer room. We found that we could only see Asian customer in Level 7, whereas western customers were at Level 5..... I wonder.
In addition, the Wifi was included but not stable, we kept asking staff to come in and help, this make us very inconvenience. The TV set were old.
The location was not good at all.
Overall, the property were not as good as the review, but only the friendly staff help us all.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to shop around, choose Siam area

Room was too small for 2 adults plus child of about 11 years age. Child breakfast wasn't included in cost, had to pay extra. Carpet was old and untidy. Location is little off centre if shopping is your area of interest, close from airport & motorway though. Won't stay here, would prefer Amari Watergate where I have stayed before.

Check Amari Watergate if shopping is your area of interest. All major malls n shopping streets are nearby..

Only the building is impressive, service poor:(
Breakfast was good, lavish variety and good quality. Inspite of such rush, they managed to accomodate the guests , though we had to wait in queue everyday. But good food.

Plumbing job was poor in bathroom, had to call the plumber at midnight to unchoke the tub! Had to call house keeping no. of times to bring teabags and accessories every morning. They didn't even replenish them when they made our room.So, the moment u think of having tea, pick up phone first rather than switching on the kettle.And then keep waiting till u hv to pick up the phone again to remind them that u r still waiting fr yr teabags!!!We had problem at reception too as there was no option to feed in no. of people checking in in the form of agoda application on ipad.So, on our hotel voucher it was mentioned 2 rooms, 1 adult(though we were family of 4)but we had to argue with them and make calls to agoda to sort out the matter.Ultimately they had to succumb to agoda.
Shopping Tip:
Fr cheap shopping go to patpong night shopping, its good fun. Also Indra square and do haggling to yr heart's content.

The building on the main road shown a very big amari hotel sign on top and mine first impression was please don't tell me that a 4 star hotel, luckly it wasn't.The staff was friendly. the room was clean and big. even the extra bed was well prepared.There is a lot of variety for the breakfast and taste fairly good. The security was also good with the plenty of guard around and the card requirement to goes up the hotel. location not near if want to travel by BTS but with taxi or driving not a issue

Good hotel...friendly staff.........clean room
Big, comfortable bed.......buffet had a good variety........swimming pool nice....gym a little dated but ok

The happy hour in the bar downstairs (2 drinks for the price of one) was a good feature and the free drinks and snacks upstairs.
The location made it difficult to travel anywhere by road in rush hour, but most places are similar at that time of day I suppose.
