Hotel was old and needed a refresh!
In the middle of Suhumvit ... great location

had some ups and downs with this hotel, down side was the hotel is rather old (like a hilton hotel from the 1980's). the staff however were great but the rest of the clients in the hotel weren't. whilst this is not a fault of the hotel a lot of the patronage were arrogant arabs which really detracted from the stay and ended up on one nite at 3am with a phone call to security about the noise from other hotel guests. my fiance refused to go to breakfast by herself for similar reasons. wont hold the hotel at fault, other than the aircon failed one night and flooded the room on night. amari have better hotels in the area that are friendly and more fun and moved out of this hotel to the amari residence which i would highly recommend.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel is a bit of a flash back to the 1980's but is in the middle of the area and kind of fun. No real big complaints but you can do better for your money with other Amari properties. Was sick at one point of my stay and my fiance tried to arrange for an english speaking doctor which the staff at the time couldnt arrange or understand the request .. was ok in the morning but at the time it was a real worry. They claim in their hotel guide that they can provide it but the front desk staff couldnt understand the request at the time.

not recommended for those looking for spa services. non-existent here! ordered a massage service in the room. the girl was 30 minutes late yet still wanted to charge me for the time she missed. was unprepared for room massages - brought nothing.
front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful.

wonderful location and good transport links to anywhere in Bangkok

i have stayed in this hotel many times and the only downside is there is no access to the swimming pool from the left side of the hotel
Travel tip:
never take a hotel limo or a taxi from outside the hotel it is much cheaper to grab a passing meter taxi

once again my stay at this hotel was a plesant one set in a good location right in the heart of sukhumvit with the skytrain only afew minutes walk away, if you enjoy shopping, night markets, nightlife in general this is the hotel to stay at, staff very friendly and polite, room was very clean and well equipt, great value for the money.

the amari boulevard hotel bangkok realy is a great hotel its in a great location in bangkok very close to mts station /nana has a great pool on the 6 th floor away from the bussle of bangkok the stsff realy are great from the moment you check in to the moment you leave has a great 24 hr bar in the lobby have stayed here many times and allways found it to be a top class hotel will be staying here again on my return to bangkok

I really enjoyed very much my stay at Amari Hotel.Amari has all the facilities like fully equiped gym, superb swimming pool,excellent breakfast and very good inhouse restaurants. Rooms are very spacious and clean.I have one comment which I have already reported it to Amari management. During my stay , I found the bed cover was very thin and not tucked into the bed like every hotel in the world. It was very loose and thin. I hope this problem has been addressed.
