Hotel situated in prime area surrounded by various shopping stalls and with easy locations to big shopping malls and the train station is just nearby.

None that i can think of.

Rooms are kept clean at all times and the staff are very friendly, all out to serve. There is a good massage centre just near the hotel, which I find very reasonably priced. The breakfast was quite good, one of the best we had tasted in Bangkok, and it made us feel so happy that we visited many places in Bangkok. The checking in was done very quickly, and I must praised Agoda for such good service. I will definite book again from Agoda as they are very trustworthy, as I have booked many hotels from them. This hotel, however, is highly recommended.

nothing that sticks out

Stayed 4 nights in June. Have been on 3 different occasions now and will always return. Getting to be a popular place for middle eastern visitors but I will still return due to location and price.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : don't be sucked in by the peddlers inviting you to a ping pong show near the girly clubs

The hotel location is excellent as there is only 2 minutes walk to LRT station

Maybe due to fully booked status, we waited for alomost 1 hour during check in

This is my first time to stay here and overall everything is satisfied. The room is clean and comfortable and the staffs is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great with wide selection of food. Will be back in my next visit to Bangkok next year.

friendly staff closeness to Skytrain, Foodland Room upgraded from Standard to Deluxe

children at the swimming pool without parents' supervision bad cable TV picture unable to control the temperature in the room

Our short stay was in general pleasant, except for too many loud children at the swimming pool who were there for all the day and without any control really making a mess. The place ment to be cool and nice to relax turned into not controlled kindergarten. TV picture was really bad. It looked like on the first analogue SAT receivers. Another trouble was coldness in the room. There was a temperature regulator but obviously didn't work. I set it to 30 degrees celsius but it was still near twenty. Breakfast was nice and diversible dishes were served. If mentioned bad points would be present I could recommend staying here.

The lobby lounge and the gathering service is great. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.

The old part is the weaknesse of this hotel, because... it's old. Was probably a 4 stars in the 70's 80's but today, it really need a face up.

Overall a great hotel. If you don't mind to pay a little more, I strongly suggest you to take a Deluxe room. You will be place in the new section. When we first get to Bangkok, we have been placed in a Deluxe room, even if I pay only for a standard, because the old section (where are the standards rooms) was full. On our second time, they placed us in the ancient section, which I found a bit dissapointing after we had a taste of the Deluxe rooms. The Deluxe room are spacious, beautiful and very cosy. The bathroom is modern, clean and the huge shower is seperate from the bath. We were placed on level 5 which rooms are having a balcony with table and chairs. I recommend also to pay and get the breakfast included. It's a buffet style breakfast of a excellent quality. They serve american-english style breakfast as well as Thai style. So TAKE THE DELUXE, you will have a five star room for a convenient price! Also the pool section is nice. The fitness room need a little upgrade, or at least more maintenance. But it's ok for a basic traning.

The location, the breakfast

Broken Lift

The Amari Boulevard is in a great location - just a few minutes walk to Nana sky train station and close to bars and restaurants and tailors etc. The breakfast was good. The lift in my wing was broken which resulted in long delays and there was no sign of anyone working on it and no apologies or concern that I could see. Nice pool. The hotel is popular with the ARab community with many guest wearing the Burka.

Hotel Feature Tip : The business centre was helpful.

Good location, pleasant staff

Broken lift

Hotels in Bangkok are generally very good with generally very good staff, and the staff at the Amari Boulevard were no exception. It is looking slightly tired I felt, and the broken lift resulted in long waits which was really annoying on a business trip. when I asked when it would be fixed I was met with a shrug and minimal concern. Room and breakfast were fine and location is still very good.

Hotel Feature Tip : Nice pool.

Clean and good hotel, centrally located

17 storied building has two lifts out of which only one is in working condition. I had to wait sometimes for 30 minutes to get a lift, especially during the breakfast time. This is the main complaint from different guests who stays in the hotel.

Generally a good hotel, well maintained. Also location is good.

good location on sukhumvit soi 5

very poor maintanance

the agoda offer made this hotel quite cheap, but the quality of the room was terrible. Old and dirty towels, room not renovated in many years and very noisy (thin walls and machinery). I wouldn't recommend it!However, the location is great ... close to the BTS skytrain, nana plaza and opposite a 24 hour supermarket. Nice swimming pool too. I hope the regular rate rooms are better quality.

Nice Lobby, great Breakfast good rooms

The street is a bit dodgy

Very nice and friendly large Hotel. They do remember you after only two days which is great. Staff is well trained and Hotel is well managed. Location is very convenient near sky trains and Sukhumvit for Taxi's. Street itself is a bit "off" with he ambience of the Hotel but still and excellent place to be at.

Nightlife Tip : Stepping out of the Hotel turn left into a small (covered) alley which has little bars and restaurants, all quite authentic, the alley leads you to Sukhumvit soi 7.

We were upgraded to a deluxe room. The view was good and the room was very nicely furnished. The hotel is conveniently located next to BTS station and there is a 24-hour supermarket across the road.

The hotel is too big and bustling for my taste. Also, the location is good, but at night I found it very unpleasant to walk back to the hotel from the train station because the sidewalk is filled with swarms of people shopping/browsing/begging at the night market on the nearby road.

Hotel is too big so everything is very impersonal. If you wanted to connect to WiFi from your room it cost a whopping Baht 500. I didn't care for the location of the hotel. It is fine if you like bustling street action and people watching. The beggars nearby didn't help the ambience.

Shopping Tip : A good night market near the hotel but you need to bargain like mad!

Location and Excellent Breakfast.

Misleading info about the internet and very expensive charge. Room size

I have stayed in different hotels in Bangkok but this is a unique hotel. Even though I had read on the internet that there is free wifi if you use your lap top in lobby. However, I was told that you hve to buy a drink which seemed quite expensive to use wifi. Additionalyl the charge to use internet in room is much more expensive than many other hotels. I found their rooms are darker, humid and less spacious. There are many other nice hotels in that location and on Sui 11 with almost half of their charges. Their breakfast is the best breakfast I ever had in Bangkok. I would not stay there again.

Travel tip : location. There is a supermarket across from hotel.
