The room was beautiful, confortable and clean. The hotel is very nice.
The location is not good if you're planning to enjoy the city. It's convenient for people who is taking a flight at Don Mueang airport.
The hotel is excelent. Staff was very helpful and the hotel is just 5 minutes from Don Mueang airport. I could use a free internet conection at the lobby just by having a drink. The room exceed my expectations. It was huge, clean, confortable and the furniture is wonderful. The bathroom was a must! They provide us everything we need and much more. The treatment that they give to their guests is unique.

Close to the Don Muang Airport, Good service
old, far from the downtown. And the last day I stayed, there was a big seminar group that checking in and I had to wait in the long queue to check out.
The hotel is quite old but still nice and clean.
The staff is friendly and has good service as Amari Standard. The food in hotel is quite expensive but worth for as there is no shopping centre or good restaurant nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Well don't take taxi to downtown cos of too much traffic. You should take a taxi to Mo-Chit skytrain station cost about 110 baht then take the skytrain to go to downtown like Siam Square, or Sukhumvit area, it cost 40 baht for maximum.

hotel staffs are friendly.
too far from the new airport. no local and decent restaurants in a walking distance near by. outside the hotel, surrounding are messy and dirty as normal thai living standard.
the hotel should have a convenience store and a restaurant that not too expensive. this hotel is not a 5 stars hotel, may be only 3 stars. therefore, the price should goes down a little bit. especially when a guest want to make a reservation at front desk for a special discount. one of the staff suggested to go online for a better deal.
Hotel Feature Tip : actually, nothing to share about this hotel. because, the new airport is very far away from this area now. why would anybody wants to stay at this hotel? the hotel should coming up with a special deal, for example: half price for food, transportation to the new airport, etc. or ask yourself, what is your selling points now to complete with other hotels.

The hotel is not a convenient place to stay. First, the hotel's parkade is way at the back and you would have to go over a really steep up and down. That means walking about 100 metres with no proper sidewalk. Once in the hotel, if you are unlucky, like me, you would get a really far away room which could take you more than 5 minutes to get to. The hotel also has a bad location. The room is dull. I did expect more from this brand.

Location to Don Maueng airport
Out of the way from the central business and shopping districts
This hotel was a great value. It serves for a great location to layover from your international flight, and leave from Don Maueng airport the next day.
The staff is friendly, and professional.
It could use some improvement on it's breakfast buffett, compared to most of the hotels where I have stayed in Thailand.

Close to the airport Don muang, nice room
Internet in the room is not included.
I had airshow event at Don Muang airport then it's the most convenient location. The hotel is still very good and I got upgraded to the executive floor, suite room. nice! I just wish to spend more time in the room but just come back to sleep. Like I said, the intenet in the room is extra charge but I use a free wireless in the lobby anyway.

Room very well-equipped
Airport transport handy
Swimming pool more than adequate
A little remote from outside shopping, restaurants
The Amari Don Muang possibly saw better days when the airport across the road was Bangkok's sole international airport. With the new airport virtually oon the other side of the city, the Amari Don Muang now seems a little remote. However, there is an excellent and cheap minibus service between the 2 airports which make this hotel easy to access. A railway station, buses and taxis are also readily available, so although the airport is a little remote from the main city areas, shopping etc, travelling from the hotel is not a problem. Room are very comfortable and affordable - facilities more than adequate.
Hotel Feature Tip : Great exercise facilities and pool

I was upgraded to the executive floor because the non smoking room evidently had a smoker in it at some point. The executive floor was great! What value! The room was huge and so was the bathroom.
Two huge (yet dead) cockroaches were lying in state on the carpet. I never saw cockroaches so huge. I am glad the hotel evidently has pest control that works but the dead remains should be buried somewhere before I take possession of the room.
Very nice hotel to stay in especially if you are upgraded to the executive floor. The regular rooms are a bit overworked, but the hotel lobby is very very nice. I would stay here again even in a regular room. The taxi service from the airport to this hotel is a bit of a scam. Do some research on how to get to this hotel from the airport across the street without paying 200 Baht.

Large, clean and well-managed room with 5-star hotel facilities. Away from the maddening city traffic jams of Bangkok.
Many of the facilities are either closed or running at half strength. Perhaps because of the relocation of the international airport to Suvarnabhumi.
Amari Don Mueang is a great place to have a quiet and quality family time away from anyone, everyone and everything.
The pool, restaurant, coffee house and quiet surrounding calms your congested minds and eyes.
For a private person like myself, having a good selection of TV programs and delicacies is enough to make me a relaxed and happy traveller.
Hotel Feature Tip : Great place to laze around. Just switch everything off and not do anything!

Everything was over priced.
To start with, my fiance is 7 1/2 months pregnant and I am recovering from a dislocated knee and we could not possibly have been put in a room that had further to walk. We were the last room on the longest wing. All the mini bar items were priced about 2-3 times higher than other hotels we had just stayed in in both Bangkok and Ubon Ratchathani. And the laundry service rates were outrageous. So much so we didn't have any items laundered, but rather took a taxi out to Ayuttaya and did the laundry ourselves at her sister's house and after paying the taxi fees both ways it was still cheaper than sending them to the hotel laundry service. They charged as much for a pair of socks as the 4 Stay Ubon Grand did for laundry and pressing a sport shirt. As for the advertising of Tex-Mex menu, they only had 1 item on the menu that was Tex-Mex and it was okay but still wasn't real Tex-Mex and they didn't serve any chips & salsa as would be done at a real Tex-Mex resturant. Again, the prices were really high, and their excuse for that was that Thai food in the U.S. would be higher because it was not native food of the region. I explained, you don't pay an inflated price in the U.S. just because it is cusine from a different culture/country. It would be comparable to any other U.S. resturant in that area and level of class and service. I stayed there simply because I needed to be close to Rangsit for dental work but didn't want to stay and the Asia Airport Hotel due to other personal reasons, but next time I will be more likely to return to the Asia Airport then to Amari Don Mueng.

The fascilities offered was first class.
A kiosk with newspapers etc. would not go amiss.
Needed a place for possible overnight stay near old airport. Found the hotel very comfortable with all fascilities and luxery one could dream of.Situated not too far from central Bangkok. Very peaceful surroundings and helpful staff.Only point on the minus side was the lack of a kiosk for buying newspapers etc.and a bit "cold" and unpersonal reception and bar area.

Very big room and swimming pool
This is the 2nd time I'm stay in this hotel. the first time left me with a great impression. Very big room and really big toilet and bathroom. Also very bigh swimming pool too. You can really relax and enjoy if you stay in this hotel. Only thing is this hotel is quite far from city center and no BTS or MRT with walk range. The food is also good (I hadn't try last time). The staffs are nice and friendly. Worth for money for this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : Really big and comfortable room
