very impresive , clean best location in bangkok. charged us for every thing they could. The hotel was very impresive clean and at the best location. but our stay was spoiled by the fact they charged us unresionble prices for every thing they could. starting from 10 times more than what is common in thaland for internet services, more than 10 times for water and the hotels restorants prices are extreemly high.

they got nice food but a bit expensive and very close to the malls and shopping area looks very old and boring rooms with boring desing and colors I think it's good place for people who don't care about decoration and stuff like colors because it's not cool at all,,every time I go to my room I cannt wait to get out,, I moved to the Intercontinental on my 3rd day and what a great place.
Internet is realy too expensive but you can go to the lobby for free connection.
It was way down from my expectation

a place to come back This is type of Hotel I will be happy to come back. and I am doing it for few years already.
The hotel is located is a nice place easy to get in and out.
a lot of things to do around in a walking distance.

1. This hotel is in the heart of Bangkok.
2. Very clean.
3. Great friendly staff.
4. Buffet breakfast can't be beat.
5. Shopping & any type of eating is within walking distance. This hotel is directly in the center of Bangkok. It's within walking distance of any shopping you may want to do, or any place you may want to eat.
No problem getting a taxi if you want to tour.
The hotel staff are probably the most friendly I have ever encountered.
We have been staying there twice a year since 2003, and will continue to as long as we can. My wife and I love that place.
Restaurant Tip : For a late night snack, you may want to try eating on the street with the locals. Tables are set up every night around the corner from the hotel.
It is a GREAT value, and an experience to remember.

Great Location, excellent breakfast, very modern no complaints except for one snooty staff member and very pricey internet. This was a very nice hotel. A great location in central Bangkok too!! Very clean, very spacious rooms. There is plenty of shopping and places to eat all around and many attractions are just a short cab ride away. I was very disappointed a hotel that costs $100 per night charged for internet access, they even charged me to print my hotel voucher in their business office?? Still a classy place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure you go see the Grand Palace and dinner at the top of the Bayoke(sp??) Building is affordable and fun!!

Clean, Spacious hotel. Best location that makes travel easy to any places in Bangkok. Hotel staff are able to speak fluent english. There is no 24-hours cafe nor 7-eleven around the hotel. Limited choices of food for breakfast. Despite the different hotel i have stayed whenever i am at bangkok, Amari Watergate Hotel is the best hotel that i ever stayed.Friendly hotel staff that able to speak very fluent english.Best central location which is walking distance to MBK, Fashion Mall,Indra Square,Big C and more. Clean and spacious hotel room with VERY comfortable bed.We have no problem telling the taxi driver where is the location of Amari Watergate hotel, which i suppose it should be a popular hotel in Bangkok. I strongly recommend this hotel to all.It is definately worth the money!
Shopping Tip : Hotel is just opp Platinum Fashion Mall, and pratunum market. After a day of 'shopping war' you can go back to the hotel to 'reload' your shopping item and continue shopping war 2, since the hotel is just opp.hehee

i liked the location of the hotel near all shopping center, rooms are nice and the beautiful flowers everywhere breakfast can be improved amari watergate is very well located in pratunam its is very fancy hotel rooms are spacious and luxurious i liked the pool and garden and service is very good and the staff is professional it is clean and has warm atmosphere in the lobby i liked the flower they decorated all the areas of the hotel with.

Well located near shopping attractions. Good hospitality & fine rooms. Heavy traffic and traffic jams outside the hotel. Well located and close to the major shopping malls like Platinum mall & Pratunam market. Also very close to the Indra Market. Conveniently located. Rooms are nice & clean.
Great morning breakfast. Very good and efficient service. Great hospitality.
Requested a late checkout and they accepted after some requesting. Good gesture on their behalf.
Huge traffic once outside the hotel. Sometimes when you are stuck in a taxi in traffic, can be disturbing & difficult.
Travel tip : Very convenient for people keen on shopping in Bangkok.

Clean sheets, prompt service, friendly and helpful staff, great ambiance. Bed is a bit too hard, pillows are not fantastic. It is the best hotel in bangkok in terms of service and ambiance. Plus point would be it's near to platinium shopping mall which takes less than 5 mins walk. The staff there are extremely friendly and helpful. However, we were not too happy with the pillows and bed, as it is not up to a 5 star hotel standard. Other than that, there is nothing to complain about.
Shopping Tip : Platinum mall is a stone's throw away!

location, staff, breakfast, rooms If it is your first time in Bangkok the hotel staff will do anything to help you get around, call a taxi for you and explain where you need to go. The rooms are big, clean, have DVD. The hotel has a few good restaurants and a SPA where you can relax at the end of the day, a bit pricy of course. We really anjoyed averything at this hotel and will recommend it to all our friends.
Shopping Tip : Central World a big beautiful mall is walkinng distance from the hotel.

Very Helpfull Staff, location, good breakfast, well organized If this is your first time in Bangkok it is a very good hotel to stay in. When you go out they always ask where you are going and offer to help with information, taxi and anything else you may need.
The rooms are big, very clean, nicely organized. The hotel has every service guests may need, very good spa, restaurants.
If you plan to travel, you can leave your suitcases in the hotel for up to 2 months with no charge.
Bottom line, very very good, nice to come back there after a day of shopping in Bangkok.
Shopping Tip : Central World Mall is walking distance from the hotel, very big and beautiful mall.

Clean, friendly Staff, good location I would say the breakfast is not up to my expectation. I would say that Amari Watergate is the best experience I had from my multiple visits to Bangkok, Thailand. We were welcome by friendly staff and front desk upon our arrival. But what i would say is the cleanliness of the room especially the comfortable bed. Location is also a bonus as it is near most of the popular shopping area. We would consider staying there on our next visit to Bangkok.

Excellent home base for those who love to shop. Very convinient to various shopping malls and centers. Amari Watergate is a 5 star hotel with a pleasing atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. For those who like to shop, the Amari is in an excellent location to use as a base. Platinum Fashion Mall, Panthip Plaza, Isetan Department Store and Center World is within easy walking distance. Restaurant was a little pricey but staff was excellent and there are many places to eat within easy walking distance. This hotel would be a top choice for those shopaholics.
