Hotel location was good but other then that very disappointing and the service staff (cleaner's) very rude. The hotel (lobby) was empty and needs to be more decorated. Food was good but the bar area need to be more lively as there were hidden in the corner and many guests were not aware of its existence. The staff outside was very helpful in getting transport for us to more around (thumb-up to them). Other than that it was okay.
Very good location, fantastic food, and good enviornment.
Not very good staff (very rude), lobby is empty-need more decoration and a television.
- Shopping Tip : Bargain for everything.

I think this hotel grade is uncorrect. maybe 3 star of 2 star is resonable. because room is very old and not comfortable. but location and food is good

They provide good breakfast which has a selection of English, Danish, Indian and Continental dishes.
Rooms are spacious and traveller friendly, though slightly dark.
Rooms are slightly dark with very old furnitures.
Lifts were quite old and sometimes problematic.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel has a good concierge service. Use them to know about the places to see and travel yourself. Also get the names of the places written in Thai from them as most of the taxi drivers are dump and dont understand a word in english.
not worth it

The main problem is the focus on turnover and not on customer satisfaction and repeated stays. Our toilet broke twise, the room was not cleaned properly, the staff was not interested in giving advise and the hustlers in the ground floor was really irritating, always looking to make a quick buck and cheating tourists. Overall not a recommended hotel and I will never stay there again. The worst was the gym where we was asked to pay 200 baht even though we were hotel guests (in an expensive room even). I was there 8 years ago, and it was still the same old equipment.
good location, good breakfast
poor gym, lousy staff, really bad rooms and lots of thing didnt work
valuable but

As of August 2008 the lobby is newly renovated and very nice. They told me that the rooms will start to be renovated in September. Pre-renovation, the rooms are very tired, worn out, and smell of old carpet. For now, the rooms are cheap and in a good location, close to shopping, the Nana skytrain station, and many restaurants. The prices will go up after the rooms are finished.
Good location, cheap
rooms are very tired, smell of old carpet
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Be careful with taxis that offer you a flat rate - always use meters. If the taxi driver offers you a flat rate it is always much higher than if you use a meter (I lived in Bangkok for 4 years so I know how much it should cost to get around).
Won't be coming back

Visiting Bangkok to go sightseeing and shopping with my Thai girlfriend, I booked a room for 2 persons. Checkin went fine, however on the first evening going to our room after a long day of shopping, they wouldn't allow my girlfriend to the room unless i payed a "partner-fee" of 1000 baht, even though she had checked in with me!
I packed our bags and checked out on the spot!
Primo location.
Problems when bringing a partner to your room.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Bringin a partner to your room costs 1000 baht. And they try to collect even if you checked your Thai partner in at arrival :(
