breakfast was great, with wide selection
8.7
the staff were friendly, and couldn't do enough for you, very obliging. which is why thailand is such a great place, 99% of thai people are only to happy to help you - as long as you show respect to them and there culture to.some nationalities seem to foget they are the visitors to this kingdom! just a short distance off main drag and gives quiet stay, close to the busy sukhmvit bit.

Great location, great service
7.7
We really enjoyed our stay. Close to railway station, bars and resturants. Staff were friendly, courteous and efficient - nothing too much trouble. Food was delicious and beautifully presented.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Book tour covering floating markets, bridge over river Kwai and tiger temple - long day but worth it.

Great bang for your buck
lovely open/relaxation areas/excellent facilities

I'd recommend this hotel to families and solo travellers. The rooms are quite cosy and make you feel at home. We were a group of friends and had booked 5 rooms. None of us had any complaints. The hotel is a stone's throw from the Nana metro station and one can just walk across. Going back to the airport was also hassle free since the airport can be accessed by the metro. Their swimming pool was almost always vacant.

Pleasant hotel in a vibrant location
Clean, pleasant, close to many attractions and services
7.7
Following the remodeling of its main wing a couple years back, the Ambassador is a fairly nice place to stay for the price, especially if you like the chaos and convenience of Sukhumvit Soi 11. It's handy to have food, shopping, e-mail, travel agencies, banks etc. available only a minute or two walk away, and the skytrain also nearby. The worst part is the breakfast; some of the food is OK but a lot of it is pretty bad, and it tends to get crowded, making breakfast a not very pleasant experience.
Restaurant Tip:
There are some great restaurants right nearby, including Rosabieng across the street for fantastic Thai food, and Limoncello just a short walk down the soi for great Italian food.
