not worth the monet spend

the money spend can buy you much better accomidation.break fast is very crowded and a total mess.staff are less,also choice of food in breakfast not good,i am sure they can improve it.

The hotels standards have definitely slipped in recent years and the whole interior is in need of refurbishment. The services provided are overpriced but extensive and the staff were often slow and unfriendly. Despite these things, the location is excellent if you are interested in shopping and night life and there is a very popular dance club directly under the hotel in its underground car park.
Nightlife Tip:
Check out the club in the hotel car park.

Great location to explore Bangkok
Spacious comfortable room, Raintree Spa across the street fabulous with excellent prices, great location near Nana skytrain station, Villa Market right there at the hotel for food purchase

We were frustrated by the long waits for the elevator in the tower wing. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. The breakfast was just ok, though we always found plenty to eat and they did have lots of fruit. We enjoyed visiting the Jim Thompson house, Chatuchak Market, Floating Market, MBK and getting numerous massages from the Raintree Spa across the street from the Ambassador.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
GO to the Raintree Spa immediately and get an hour long foot massage for 200 baht!! The foot massage area is pleasant and can accomodate at least a dozen people at once!

overall a reasonably priced hotel and room was decent. small bathroom and no tub but just a shower stall. biggest disappointment was very expensive internet and even when you want to pay, it is not always available. service is slow eg bell boy due to low staff/customer ratio. their restaurant shows halal certified food but they they serve ham, bacon etc

Great value for money and great location - definitely a great stay for 1300 baht inc breakfast - didn't actually have breakfast at the hotel but at that price didn't feel compelled to. I've lived in Thailand for 5 years and this is definitely the best value hotel I've stayed in in Bangkok - Tower Wing preferably - Recommended

The hotel is good value for money and i would recommend it to every traveller. Its near the nightspots and also very close to the metro.There are taxis and tuk-tuk's outside all the time,there are also local food joints available very late. Its friendly and is very popular with the asians.
Nightlife Tip:
Climax club is situated in the basement of the hotel and play decent hip hop and dance nos and are open till 5 in the morning

The excellent location of this hotel make it appetible to everyone who want travel around bangkok in the most easy way.
The skytrain station of Nana is only 3 min walk distance from the hotel.
The hotel is very big and also have good available space for parking.
Nightlife Tip:
Bed superclub is only 2min away from the hotel, inside the same street

Ideal location for shopping as it is located in Sukhumvit.

Truely I enjoyed my 2 days stay in the hotel. Everything was within the reach e.g. spa, shopping, BTS train, eatery, etc. I would go back to the same hotel the next time I visit Bangkok. Honestly I have no comments. I am planning to bring my family for a holiday this year end and I have decided to stay at Ambassador Hotel.
