it was nice stay at ambassador hotel and will recommend others to stay there. location was the key aspect of this hotel and also the management is loving and caring.

We already stayed in the Ambassador hotel several times in the past and enjoyed it,but this time we felt a dramatic pejoration in service and especially in breakfast buffet (Last time,was much more fitted to non Asian people as well). Maybe the hotel decided to focus on the Asian guests only. In our next visit in Bangkok we will stay at the same area but for sure we will not stay at the Ambassador hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
There are a lot and variety eating places nearby.

Sukhumvit Ambassador Hotel

An older hotel and shows it's age. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast buffet was good. The location is in the heart of the Sukhumvit Area. Stayed there several days before the crackdown. Felt very safe for the conditions happening a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Security presence was self assuring, but stilled kept a constant awareness of my surroundings.

The hotel is self contained with great restaurants and a nice large pool for relaxation. As well as good Thai cuisine, the chef puts together western foods with flair.
The large pool and pool area lets you relax and their Pinacoladas and Planters Punchs are the best ever. A short walk will take you to popular night clubs and street markets.

In a city where there is a tremendous amount of sucking going on. My hotel room sucked the most.
Fix the sucking door lock people!

Make damn sure your hotel key works, not just once but try it many times.

This is a large hotel so therefore very busy.
Breakfast to be expected. no problems with check in and check out

It was a very nice stay for us. The location of the hotel is very good, only few mins walk to nana station. Receiption was nice and quick, they know their job very well. Breakfast was ok not as expected. there is no halal food resturant in the hotel. internet assess was very very costly from the room where others are offering free. airport transfer service was poor and very costly, 3-4 times higher than others. But check out was very quick. After all I enjoyed our stay there. I may stay there the next time I visit Thailand. Suitable for them who are travelling with family.
