Nothing really positive with this hotel. The location is good, but there are lot`s of good hotels in the this area for the same money. Room where not ready when I arrive at 3pm, so I was offered a "smoke" room, that was dirty. The checkout toke 25min. Never more this hotel

The Ambassador is one of the older hotels in Bangkok-old fashioned large lobby. It is located close to the Skytrain which makes it very convienient to getting around.It is on a very busy Soi-there are 10 foot massage spots within 200 feet of the hotel-and at night time it can get very busy and crowded. Both 7/11 and a full service super market are located next door.Nice pool and fitness facilities.I stayed in the Tower, which has been renovated within the last 10years.Nice large room.Buffet breakfast featured western,thai, and indian food-adequate selection.

No comment for the hotel.
There is a SPA, you must go there and enjoy. In front of the hotel there is a small street. Inside this street there is a lot of restaurent French, Mexican, Spanish & etc...
Close the hotel there is a lot of night club & if you take the taxi they'll bright you there for free.

Old hotel with many rooms

A very old but big hotel, like those in the 70s. Very old design of wooden cabinets and doors. our taxi driver told us that the hotel was built 35 years ago. Our standard rooms in the main building were big but a bit dirty with smells. The house-keeping won't change or refill the complimentary water daily. We need to call them to refill. No shower hat refill too. No slippers and no tooth brush and tooth paste. Our room was very noisy at the fifth floor with live band music even after mid-night downstairs. The staff at the reception didn't speak English well and their service is not good. Got free wi-fi at the lobby area with 30 users as the maximum.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Never take a taxi without asking for the exact price and direct destination! Almost all taxi and tuk tuk will take you to different tourist spots to get commission, wasting your time! Remember to ask for VAT tax refund whenever you purchase $2000 Baht or more, even Big C super center has tax refund.

luxury hotel but long queue at check in

good hotel, great location. many Indian restaurant near by like bawarchi and others serves all types Indian food. nana metro station at stone throw way. Robinson mall at walkable distance. breakfast lounge was very crowdy. needs more staff at hotels.
