Sufficient at best...
Cheap - no extra charge for bringing back "guests"
7
quality is relative to cost, so u get what u pay for - overall good if ur looking for an ideal location between the major red light areas, but not really meant for the business traveler or family. local area is dirty and traffic is horrendous, but the thai people are so friendly and accommodating that this was the only redeeming factor about my stay.
Nightlife Tip:
The closest red light areas to the hotels are "C" class at best, but a few "rough diamonds" ;-)

Quiet hotel with great rooms

Polite hotel staff and for a small amount extra you can get a fantastic room upgrade! Well worth the money. The room was far away from the noise of the street but close enough to make sightseeing easy.

Lovely Hotel with 100% fun
9
My staying with Hotel Ambssador in Bangkok was very pleasant. The hotel has well decorated rooms and good swimming pool. Any one can fully enjoy night life of Bangkok very easily some time without going out from the room. The renovated tower wing have very lucrative view of Bangkok city. The rate of the room is very reasonable in terms of the facility. The staff of the hotel are very accommodating and well behaved.

Very nice location if you want to go anywhere (very close to BTS about 1 block) Great for street food and bars. The room itself was clean and lobby was well managed.
Nightlife Tip:
Don't go to "Ping Pong show" very distrubing...

Older hotel, rooms clean, small. Linnen was old.
5.3
hotel give a look like it is lived out. the hall to rooms need urgent renovation. reception very dark with old woodtint.
breakfast is very poor, the place look old and service if there is, it is also poor.
reception takes a long time to check you in and out.
location is good at sukhumvit, near skytrain and the underground isn't also not far away.

a bit old, doable given cost of it. walking distance to nana bts, which is gd. nearby has much road side eatries/ 7-11, foot massage shops. road traffic noise can be a pain at times. condition of hotel facade has room for improvement,,,,
Travel tip:
use airport expreess train., its fast n cheap. use bts/ mrt if u can, traffic jam really bad in bkk, during peak hours until past 11pm in some places. Great country for shopping/ food/ massage, exciting night life. carry small notes/ coins, be handdy

Good hotel...
takes a bit of time to check-in - understaffed
8.7
Stay was good, a lot of Indian returants around, so easy when you are travelling with children or old people.
Make sure that you book room with breakfast, if you have to buy breakfast in the hotel it costs 400 ThaiBhut (approx 20 dollors)
