Pleasant hotel but location not fantastic
Comfortable rooms, great service
8
the two-bedroom suite was really huge, spacious and comfortable. especially loved the living room with a big sofa in front of the tv. really great for group trips.
location was a disappointment though, because it is quite a long walk (15mins) from the bts station, and the shuttle service from the hotel is only once every hour.
service was good, breakfast had a nice spread and quality pretty good too.
Shopping Tip:
Chatuchak market on weekends, Platinum Mall for shopping, new mall called Terminal 21

Good hotel with helpful staff
Good breakfast, quiet spa/gym and well decked out. Staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough.
8.7
i enjoyed the hotel, then rooms were clean and of a good size. i stayed in a 1 bed suite which clean and modern.
the breakfast has a good selection and covered all tastes. the staff in the dinning reception always made me smile and feel welcome. the spa was quiet and the gym has plenty of equipment to cover all needs.
my only grip was the fact the hotel was not set up for the business traveler. the internet was slow in the business center and the location of the hotel made getting to and from the hotel differcult due the high traffic level. if i was on holiday then i would recommend the hotel, but not for business. the most helpful member of the staff was james the doorman who seemed to have good local knowledge and happy to share it.

Upscale hotel for very reasonable price.
Clean, spacious and modern facilities with friendly staff.
7.7
i've stayed at the anantar on koh samui previously and was pleased by my findings at the sathorn location. the rooms and hotel facilities are quite modern and inviting. the pool is pretty amazing. the gym is good too. the layout of the hotel gives you a feeling of privacy- especially in the serviced apartments. the staff is welcoming and friendly without being annoying. the only downfall to this location is that it's a little out of the way. it's a solid 10 minute walk to the closest bts station. i found myself using a lot of taxi service.
Travel tip:
Be prepared to use busses or taxis to and from the location. There is a really cute Thai restaurant called "Home Sweet Home" only a couple of blocks away.

Most of all are good. We're happy during time there. The breakfast is good, good quality of foods except juices are not 100% of fresh juices. The parking is separate from the hotel building so it can make some incomfort.

tried the studio room for 5 days, the room and ammenties is good! there is the basic utensils, toaster, microwave. the bed size is comfortable. however, location and housekeeping is bad and poor respectively, i believe they could do better! overall a classy 5 star hotel still with modern features. i will come back again.

Lovely decorated hotel, great staff
8.3
Nicely decorated hotel with comfortable rooms. It was subtly obvious that the focus of the hotel is on revenue generation. I asked for some blue cheese at breakfast and was charged an extra fee, even though B'fast was included in my room rate. While the staff are friendly and try very hard, It's obvious that the group is focussed on returns and every little thing is charged for when possible. this attitude tainted my overall feeling about my stay. Somthing i'm very sensitive to because of my extensive experience with hotels across the region.
Restaurant Tip:
Don't be afraid to explore the close by areas of Silom and Sathorn. great street markets and restaurants to explore and experience.
