Nice hotel with great breakfast!
8.3
We have no regret spending our wedding anniversary at Anantara Bangkok Sathorn Hotel. We like the location and the hotel services except for one thing we want them to improve. When we queued at the lobby for check-out, others who just came in we're entertained first without queueing.

they were immediately helpful with everything upon our walking into the hotel and check in. the service was very friendly and helpful throughout my 2 week stay and i can honestly say that i have no complaints about them. the rooms are a very generous size, very sleek and modern looking but very cozy & comfortable. i will say that the price of the food is on the high side from my experience, but compared to everything else it did not even matter. i will be staying at the hotel again in the future and look forward to the great service and rooms again.

Not too bad, not too good
very gay friendly, good breakfast, gym, nice pool
5.7
Friend of mine introduced this hotel to me with strong recommendation. I believe this was a partially not true. This hotel is very gay friendly, cause not only us, but also you could literally see gay couples everywhere. The hotel management is not very efficiency. The room big and modern, but not sweet. The hotel is close to street, so if you need a quite place, make sure they give you a room on the back side. If you need a quite king size bed, you'd better let them know as soon as possible. cause this type of room is very rare.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
This hotel is a little far away from most of the attractions.

Nice room, service was good
enjoyed the spacious room, which was a suite
7.7
Had a pleasant stay in the hotel, the room was very spacious, clean with a comfy bed. The service of the staff was also good, and always with a smile on their face. The hotel also feature a decent sized swimming pool which we used a few time. There was also a well equiped gym, children playroom and a tennis court, so there was plenty to do for all ages. Didnt try the restaurant except for the buffet breakfast which was quite good. All in all, will certainly return to the hotel in my next visit to Bangkok.

Great hotel, great service, but poor location...
Room Decor, Friendly Staff
8
we were here for our very first songkran festival.
you know how pictures can be deceiving at times. contrary to that belief, our rooms looked exactly like the pictures published on the website. fantastic renovation. very comfortable and homey.
the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. hotel guests have access to the gym and sauna facilities. the gym is very well equipped.
the only problem we had is the location. you need a taxi in order to travel each time as the bts station is quite far. if you are looking for a hotel with easy walking access to good local food and shopping, this may not be the hotel you are looking for.
then again, in all honesty, i rarely take the bts as it is always packed and crowded... i'd much rather take the taxi's as long as they go by the meter. especially if you are travelling with a pack of friends, its cheaper to take a taxi anyways.
Shopping Tip:
If you want to have a good selection of clothes (and a good bargain), without having to sweat under the hot steamy sun (like Chatuchak), ask the taxi to bring you to Platinum mall.
