Internet access was slow and usuage was a minimum of 60 Bhat for one hour to be used within 24 hours.
Travel tip : Befriend a taxis driver - most are keen on practicing their english and because they know the area they can take you where the locals go; basically your own personal tour guide (picks you from hotel and waits at each location if requested) and at the end you pay a fare of what you believe to be as fair/ instead of them instigating an outrageous one! However be clear particularly if you ask them to recommend a restaurant as most take you to pricey ones but they are more than happy to take you elsewhere after if you decide you dont want to dine there.

It is very nice to have such a location which is near to some big shopping malls, such as Central World, Big C and Zen. But it is a bit far away from the Chitlom BTS station. If you shop for a whole day, and have to walk to the hotel from the station, it is quite tiring.
Shopping Tip : Many big malls nearby such as Central, Zen, Big C and Iseten near the hotel.

The receptionist, Ms. Po was an absolute delight to the hotel guests. I enjoyed dealing with her during my week long stay at Aprhodite.
Travel tip : Money changer next door has excellent rates and have Ms. Po arrange your sightseeing tours.

The staff are very considerate. Beside serving American breakfast in the morning, they can make a vegetarian sandwich for me.
Travel tip : There are a lot of cheap and nice local delicacies just around the corner near the pier. I love the chicken rice.

Once I found out the exact location of where I was, I realized I was in an ideal spot and very close to the subway, the Skytrain and to all the major shopping areas. The street itself had its own outdoor market selling food during the day. The room was clean, quite and had everything one could need. Make sure, however, you take one of their business cards with you so you can know the exact address and phone number in case you take a taxi to/from.
