The first impression is that the hotel feels like home although it is very small. My boyfriend said that this hotel is just like a spa, as there is so much aroma around the hotel and it makes me very comfortable. In the end I think that this hotel is okay but the price is high. I would feel better if I got some discount.

I feel this hotel is very warm, it gives me a feeling of being at home.

All of us had a good experience of living there. The condition of the room was nice. It was clean and confortable. The service of the staff was good as well. They were helpful, polite and active. The hotel was at a very convenient location. I must visit this hotel again !

The hotel is close to everything, it's not too busy and all transports are accessible, it is also close to the British Embassy, staff very friendly and helpful the breakfast are not up to much.

Gem in the Heart of Shopping Central in Bangkok Guest Rating: 4.7

Aphrodite is a well kept secret in Bangkok. Tiny, four floor hotel with a very courteous and attentive staff who try to cater to your every need. Have stayed there twice already in the last year. Truly, a hotel that offers maximum value for your money. If you don't mind the hawker stalls in front and the small rooms, you will keep coming back to this hotel. Especially if you like to be within striking distance from the malls - Central, Centralworld, Big C Supermarket, Pratunam, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery and MBK (10-15 minute walk).

A hidden gem amidst the hustle and bustle ! Guest Rating: 4.2

I am a frequent traveller to Bangkok and always stayed at the area where this little hotel is located. ( At another hotel next to the Big C supermarket to be more precise ) I have been looking for a cheaper alternative and finally tried this hotel with no regrets! Huge Supermarket next door, Central World directly opposite and within ten minutes walk to BTS Chitlom station and wholesale markets in Pratunam. Breakfast is however limited to selection of either congee, American set or sandwich. However, these are only prepared upon ordering and though lacking in variety, they are quite tasty.

Location, privacy (as compared to larger mass market hotels ) and service. Also clean and new!

Limited english spoken by the staff. Room size is not too big to allow extra space for more than two 24" luggages.

• Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel charges a flat 400 baht (including highway toll fees) for getting you a cab to the airport. It is slightly more expensive than if you were to flag one outside yourself ( my trip from airport to hotel is 330 baht )but it did save us alot of hassle. We simply told them what time we needed the cab and they prepared for us and even got a cab that was pretty new to ensure a more comfortable ride to the airport.

It's a budget hotel in Bangkok. The hotel location is ideal for shopping. It's near BIG C and takes only 5 mins to central world. The room is not big, but clean. The staff is gentle and helpful. However it seems not well known to the local taxi driver. I suggest to have the Thai address of the hotel for when you take a taxi from the airport.

The location is just perfect for shopping, nightlife, etc.. food being served is also ok, enjoyed it a lot. Swimming pool is also ok. I have enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will definitely come back if I will be given a chance to visit Phuket again. And will recommend the place to my friends as well.

this hotel is nice for family to take rest after getting tired from shooping very quiet and nice stuff they are very nice and giving good services. we like this hotel and its place. also they have nice breakfast but the resturant is small but it is good. i am so happy and satisfy about staying thanks

Aphrodite hotel is a very convenient hotel. It is near big C and super rich (better exchange rate shop). Their staff are nice and polite who make you warm and happy. Also,we liked to have a dinner in another place, their staff not only help to make booking for us but also translate the address from English to Thai for us and remind us the dressing code. They are really very nice.

The room was quite small but since I went there for shopping and I just went back to the hotel late at night, I didn't really mind that. The location was excellent, I could walk to Siam Paragon or Siam Square in 20 minutes. I could also walk to Plantinum Fashion Mall in 5-10 minutes. Big C was just round the corner and I could exchange money at SuperRich easily. Although there was no buffet breakfast, I enjoyed the light American breakfast and I could buy different Thai breakfast near the hotel. They also provided hair dryer and adaptor upon request. The greatest part was that you did not have to pay for the bell boy coz there simply wasn't any (I didn't really need one)! There was an old man at night at the reception and a beautiful young lady in the morning and they were both very friendly and helpful. The keys of the room are not working very well. It took over 5 minutes to lock the door. I guessed there was construction work nearby so it was a bit noisy at night.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There is a shop for massage called Indara nearby and their traditional Thai massage was great. At night there was a young girl painting nails for people and she could draw different flowers on your nails. It cost only 50 bht!!
