Big rooms bad beds
Pretty close to ekkamai . Big rooms
Aravinda is pretty close to ekkamai station. The rooms are ok but not that great. But it's a ok place for one or two nights.

A quiet place in a bustling city, slose to public
Proximiyto Ekkamai, quiet at night, price.
A clean quiet place 7 min walk from Sukumvit Rd, and another 7 to Ekkamai station and busterminal. I was pleasantly surprised at my 10 a.m early checkin. The room was basic and functional, with a small balcony, a desk, a frige and a microwave oven. The lobby has beverages, frozen food and icecream for sale. The WiFi was reliable and free. Its Bangkok, if you are going to spend a lot of time at the hotel, this is not the place for that, but rather a cheap safe place to crash for the nights. Quiet and efficient aircon, hard matresses, and defnitley well woth the money.

Suitable ONLY for A No Frills Stay
Aircon, Hot water and Big Room
If you're expecting to only sleep in an secluded area in Bangkok, then this hotel is highly recommended. Do not expect too much if you are paying the said price. Overall, please be prepared to take long winding roads to get in and out of narrow roads which are heavily used by cars and bikes. Watch your step as you walk as the path is dangerously narrow and if not careful, might fall and injure yourself. BTS station is about 25 minutes to walk. As long as you are mentally prepared with the above information, only then should you consider staying. Provide Microwave oven and fridge, But does not provide glass or plates, Bed is Uncomfortable and too hard. Staff is ok and helpful.

Cheap and Chearfull
value for money, location, aircon
The Aravinda was more like a University or college accomodation wing, The reception staff were polite and helpfull and spoke very good English, although the hotel had no catering facilities there was plenty nearby, a fridge and microwave available in the room. The room was clean although there was a bit of a mouldy smell on arrival but ok when aired. On booking the hotel did not offer a swimming pool as a facility but some of the reviews mention 1, basically there was a small pool but they say its broken. The price was less than half the alternatives in the area and is good value for money. its quite a distance down soi 65 and another sub soi but the motorbike taxis all knew it and its a 10 min walk to BTS ekomai and the gateway shopping center or 20 baht on a motorbike
