Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Ariyasomvilla Hotel Bangkok Info
This elegant boutique hotel shaped from a classic, 1940’s Thai home sits at the end of a quiet soi, minutes from Bangkok’s pulsating Sukhumvit Road. Retaining all the elegance of the classic residence, this 25-room, unique boutique showcases period furniture, hand woven silk drapes and traditional teakwood flooring completing the step back in time. Graceful and modern rooms with plush linens, LCD televisions and wireless internet will keep you relaxed and connected. A holistic approach to health and wellness is employed at the hotel; by providing organic, vegetarian meals (as well as Thai and Western) at the “Na Aroon” restaurant and offering yoga and meditation classes in open air halls. And after easily navigating Bangkok’s wonderful maze of sights, sounds, sois and stalls, the “Som Sen” Spa will smooth out the edges and help you body recharge with a traditional Thai massage.

David Lees, the owner and designer, has done a superb job of designing a hotel that makes you feel like you are a guest in a very nice home. There is an amazing attention to detail: the old teak used in the hallways, the repetition of a design in the window panels, the balcony railings and the pool, the placement of wooden carvings, the design of the rooms and especially the bathrooms, the landscaping, the use of old doors, etc., etc. We very much enjoyed our stay and recommend the place without reservation. It's conveniently located at the end of a Soi near the largest hospital in Bangkok, just off Sukhomvit. There's a BTS stop nearby, and a canal boat stop as well.

Room, bathroom, garden, pool
Attractive boutique hotel in a peaceful spot at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 1 - so no traffic noise apart from commuter boats on the canal behind. The location is convenient for (Suvarnabhumi) airport transfers and 10 mins walk from Ploechit BTS station. The rooms are mostly large and comfortable with spacious, well equipped bathrooms. The densely planted garden contains a decent sized pool. Thai food in the restaurant is good but spiced for foreign rather than local taste. The non-buffet breakfast can be slow to arrive and orders sometimes go wrong. The soi floods in heavy rain and you may find yourself wading back to the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Elifin cafe, halfway down Soi 1, is a good (and cheaper) alternative to the hotel for breakfasts and light lunches.

Beautiful setting makes it an oasis in the midst of bustling Bangkok. Management was friendly, staff was right on the money, rooms were exquisite. Restaurant is organic and delicious. Great pool, and located right across from Bumrungard International Hospital.
Not much to complain about here.
Bangkok would not be nearly as pleasant if not for this small hotel. The manager/owner sees to every detail and the staff is really there to cater to every request. Close also to a stop on the Sky Train, which means the city is near at hand.
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant is first class in presentation, variety and taste.
