The Good Earth Chinese Restaurant
The Good Earth, specializing in Cantonese Food, is eager to prepare the best Chinese delicacies for you. The dim sum chef was recently rewarded as the ‘Best Dim Sum Chef’ competing with 17 major Bangkok hotels. The restaurant serves dim sum for lunch and a la carte and set menus all day. The special dishes are pan-fried prawns with mayonnaise sauce, sizzle crispy soft shell crab with black pepper and roasted air dry duck.

Location location location is always the best We stayed at the Arnoma as we had an apointment just down the road the the regent house on the same road. We were suprized to find that there was many many shopping centers and huge markets and that it was a bonus as it was my wifes birthday and she loves to go shopping. Also the superstars of Thailand sell their old clothes for charity outside the shopping malls and we got to see a couple of them. We will definitly stay there again when we visit bangkok and highly recommend the hotel to any other visitors.
Shopping Tip : Dont forget to haggle at the markets.

Good location.
Room condition not bad, better than expectation for the price we pay.
The hotel location is strategic, especially those who wish to visit the Erawan Shrine. Walking distance to Pratunam (Wholesale market-for ladies) Besides the sky train station is also nearby. We didn't try out the food in the hotel because we enjoy the street food which you can get along the way to Platinum Mall (Wholesale Mkt)
Me and my wife really enjoy the stay in the hotel.

Room furnishings need revamp Being a regular at this hotel, again it does not disappoint. Granted it is a four star rated hotel and neither is it in the newest condition; I would still rate it the best value for money for its strategic location. Being within walking distance to the main shopping centres and wholesale areas as well as chitlom station (sky train), its key selling point is accessibility.

- Mid-range Bargain Shopping at MBK, Siam Square, and Siam Discovery are all 8-mins walk to the south via BTS skywalk. Unmissable.
- High-end Shopping, Bowling, Movies, A great Foodcourt, and a giant Aquarium await you at Siam Paragon just 8-mins walk south via BTS skywalk next to Siam Square.
- The cherished Erawan Shrine is across the street. Follow the insense laced traditional thai music to find beloved working shine (not tourist trap) with traditional dancing and sometimes baby elephant viewing.
- Narai Phand, the largest handicrafts center in Bangkok, is next door which is famous for tribal crafts, silk, and souvenirs as well as great basement shopping for purses, skarves, beads, jewlery and gifts.
- EGV Cineplex is next door. Experiencing a "Gold Class" movie is a must for visitors to Bangkok-sure to be a talking-point of your trip.
- Central World Plaza (formally World Trade Center) under construction as of July 2006 is across the wide street of Rajdamri. World-class shopping, bowling alley, Isetan and Zen department stores. Convention center will be a landmark modern marvel, Asia maybe world renowned when finished. (Building not disturbing to Arnoma)
