The rooms may be slightly smaller but the excellent location makes up for everything. Hotel staff are also very friendly and they attend to your needs pretty fast.

When my wife and I arrived at your esteemed hotel with amused mood around 3:00pm of 13 March 2012, an elder female receptionist approached us and processed our check-in. After I passed the reservation vouchers to her. After 30 minutes, I took the room keys from that lady and we went to Room 1104 with our luggage. While we opened the door of Room 1104, we felt very disappointed of no view (but with Big C wall view) from Room 1104. Then I went back to the reception and talked to that lady again, we insisted on changing another double room at high floor because we celebrated my wife’s birthday for four days at her hotel in Bangkok. At that moment, she just explained to me with her arrogant attitude again that I have just booked a superior room not a deluxe room, that superior double room type was only located below the 16th floor; another superior double room (Room 1401) was found available at that moment and could be changed it to us. When we went to Room 1401, we just opened the door, we could heard a huge bicker sound from the ceiling of bathroom, I immediately found a room attendance at the 14th floor to go to our room and she could heard it also. The floor supervisor immediately informed the front desk, a front desk staff phoned me afterward and explained to me that was a normal situation because of the room configuration!

Great location at a great price

location was great and hotel is close to the major shopping centres. it's safe to walk at night and the supermarket in the next building (big c) opens till late.
only disappointment was the buffet breakfast which was of a limited spread.
Shopping Tip:
hotel is situated within walking distance of shopping malls such as central world plaza, platinum mall, erawan shoppping centre and grayson shopping centres and only a couple of train stops (bts)from siam paragon, mbk and terminal 21.

its like in a city area.no matter early or late night u can go down n get food n lots of stall by e street to shop..its wonderful.

Great location
We stayed in this hotel because of the location. It is just next to Big C, we can buy drinks & food from the big supermarket. It is walking distance to Platimum Mall too.

we stayed in the non-smoking floor. the design of the room was a bit updated, but it was clean and without any cigarette smell. the bathroom was clean and the towels were very white and clean too. we liked the shampoo & showel gel. it would be good if the hotel can provide toothbrush & tooth-paste.
we liked the soft pillows and the firm bed.
the staff in the hotel are friendly. especially the staff at the lift, they always greeted us with bright smile and had a friendly chit-chat with us.
we stayed 3 nights in this hotel and the breakfast was the same spread every morning. the food was average. to avoid the crowd, it is good to have early breakfast before 8am.
Shopping Tip:
You can get cheap clothings like T-shirts, undergarments, etc in Big C supermarket. There are a few restaurants there too.

Never again!

This is a four star hotel but it felt more like a 2+. The whole place especially the rooms and bathrooms need a complete refurbishment.
The most negative point for me was the charge for using wifi in the lobby area, extortionate prices plus there was no internet access in the room itself!
In the end I went across the road to the nearest coffee shop and bought a 60 Baht wifi card for 10 hours usage! The hotel are charging over 1,000 Baht for a day's access, again in the lobby!
I feel the advertising of the hotel's facilities regarding wifi to be inaccurate.
Overall, great location but could stay somewhere else much cheaper, nicer and be given complimentary wi-fi. Breakfast was more quantity than quality that one would associate with a four star property.
NEVER AGAIN!

Don't pay for internet access as it is only available for use in the lobby and the prices are OTT!
