Near the train station, near shopping, night market just outside the hotel on weekends. Room are clean, toilet in good working condition despite being one of the oldest hotel. Wide spread of buffet during breakfast. Friendly staff. Swimming pool water is very cold bec under a shade. Good for family with elderly or young children as take a nap or rest, then more shopping. 5 to 10 mins walk to the BTS train station. Naraya shop is just opposite the hotel

across the street is the central world and isetan, beside there is big C supermart for grocery and food, further down is where the Erawan Shrine(four face Buddha) is,Wholesale is about 10mins walk to pratunam. The hotel is a bit run down, breakfast spread is quite the same for everyday, skytrain is quite far away. I would still love to book this hotel for location and convenient, quite safe to walk alone even at night.across the road is central world shopping mall and wholesale centre is within the reach though is far away from siam centre and MBK it is easily accessible with taxi.

This hotel is still value for money .Room cleaning services is excellent as the room is cleaned the monent you leave your room .Its really refreshing to come back to a cleaned room.
Shopping Tip : Head for any direction from the hotel and you are sure to get lost in shopping malls or street stalls

best location as it is very near the upscale malls ( Gaysor, Central, Zen, Isetann) and Big C ( grocery)
fairly value for money hotel we were billed and forced to pay for an item we did NOT even consume from the hotel room refrigerator! 60baht for 1 mineral/purified water which you can only buy for 10baht in Big C- duh!!!! value for money hotel especially if travelling with kids where you want the place to be acceptably clean.Breakfast is ok, nothing great. Location is really great as it is in the heart of the city. Cheaper to shop in the sidestreet night markets near this hotel and that of Pratunam area, than in Chatuchak- believe it or not! A bad experience for me is being billed for something we did not even consume, and no matter how hard i tried to explain it to the guy in the reception, he was still insistent! It was 4am, and our hired taxi was waiting, so to get the reception guy out of our backs, i just paid for it- 60baht water which you can get in Big C for only 10 baht! Duh!

i phoned the hotel to ask for transportation from the bus station where we arrived and was prommissed to be picked up but no one came. when i phoned i was told to take a taxi.
ac didnt work good and no one came when i asked for help.
wouldnt extend checkout time even by an hour even though we arrived at midnight and asked for that in advance
Shopping Tip : close to mbk. but during rush hour it can take 20 minutes to drive there.

It is good to have a hotel near the major shopping destination as after a day of shopping under Bangkok's hot weather, what we want most is to get back to our hotel room fast to have a bath. Arnoma is the right one as it is just opposite Central World Plaza, Big C superstore is on the right side, Gaysorn is on the left side and 10 minutes walk away from Platinum. Just outside the hotel, the street had many peddlers selling food, fruits, souvenirs, t-shirts, shoes at a bargain. I'll definitely go back to Arnoma again if I go to Bangkok again.
Shopping Tip : Ladies, make Platinum your first stop for shopping as they have everything there at a bargain. Excellent! However, be prepared to squeeze a bit.
