Good location, clean and friendly service, value for money We booked this hotel because of its very convenient location. It is in the heart of Bangkok's shopping district, fronting a very good shopping Mall (the Central World), and its a short walking distance to the Pratunam malls and markets. It is also within a short walking distance to the Skytrain Chidlom station.
The Deluxe rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel's buffet breakfast is also very good, with sufficient variety.
The hotel is really a good value for money.

Location location location is always the best We stayed at the Arnoma as we had an apointment just down the road the the regent house on the same road. We were suprized to find that there was many many shopping centers and huge markets and that it was a bonus as it was my wifes birthday and she loves to go shopping. Also the superstars of Thailand sell their old clothes for charity outside the shopping malls and we got to see a couple of them. We will definitly stay there again when we visit bangkok and highly recommend the hotel to any other visitors.
Shopping Tip : Dont forget to haggle at the markets.

Good location.
Room condition not bad, better than expectation for the price we pay.
The hotel location is strategic, especially those who wish to visit the Erawan Shrine. Walking distance to Pratunam (Wholesale market-for ladies) Besides the sky train station is also nearby. We didn't try out the food in the hotel because we enjoy the street food which you can get along the way to Platinum Mall (Wholesale Mkt)
Me and my wife really enjoy the stay in the hotel.

Room furnishings need revamp Being a regular at this hotel, again it does not disappoint. Granted it is a four star rated hotel and neither is it in the newest condition; I would still rate it the best value for money for its strategic location. Being within walking distance to the main shopping centres and wholesale areas as well as chitlom station (sky train), its key selling point is accessibility.

Perfectly located for shopping, relatively good communication. Inhouse restaurants close very early. Being a relatively reasonable but centrally located hotel, we were quite positively surprised by the actually fairly nice standard both of the rooms and the public areas of the hotel. The central shopping areas were all within walking distance, like Central World (across the street), Electronics heaven Pandtip Plaza, and even Siam Square and MBK.
The staff were very friendly and we would happily recommend the hotel to friends.

i had a bad encounter with one of the front desk staffs. A friend of mine, who came to visit me during the day, was not allow to go into our room and was asked to leave which i find it so embarrassing. The attitude of the staff was lousy and to the point it really spoilt my trip. i didnt have such problem during my stay at the other hotels. Would not stay in this hotel again.
Restaurant Tip : Loves the hotpot from MK Restaurant, must try!

Good location - opposite large shopping center Furnishing and toilet needs to be improved. Hotel staff should be more customer friendly. Need to improve on their tone of voice.
Restaurant Tip : The eateries located at the opposite shopping centre offers good food.

Nice hotel near to shopping center trafic jam during working hour If you like shopping then this is a good hotel to stay. It is next to central world shopping center. The problem trafic jam most of working hour but if you can walk to use sky train then okay.

Hotel staff are great, makes you feel very welcome and at home. Very convenient with Big C just across the hotel. Wifi is not free, maybe 30mins free use per day would be a nice gesture... The staff here are one of the most courteous I have ever experienced. The main reason I stay at this hotel is location / location. Big C across the hotel, has everything one might need. From signature shops to bargain booths. Food choices are plentifull. Internet cafe, Watsons, all available.
Additional plus is, its just few minutes walk to the BTS Sky train.

Very easy to find the hotel. There are many interesting things along the roadside for shoppers. The waiters are friendly. We could not light up 2 lamps on the dressing table. The sound of flushing up the toilet and the running of shower in nearby room after midnight was loud enough to wake me up. The carpet was rather old. Renovation seems to be necessary. The hotel is near the shopping centers that range from cheap and bargainable to very expensive one. Walking to nearby places is possible and really help during the traffic jam in the evening. The hotel is suitable for those shopaholic or have business deal with the pricing compared to be lower than hotel in the nearby area.
Restaurant Tip : I really enjoy food in Central World. We have dinner in Laem Charoen Seafood. After that ice cream which take time to decide which one to take.

they upgraded us as the ordinary rooms were full... we were put in the superior club room, which showed their generousity....
a very convenient location that's near to Big C SuperCenter which closes at 10.30pm!!!, and Central world as well as the BTS. however, the management has a Very inflexible ruling of having guests only in Lobby.... My brother who's in Bkk came to pass us some things and a huge luggage but was refused entry so my mom had to carry the items herself!
In fact to bring up a guest we have to pay an additional 500Bht even when the person is not staying!!!!
Also, a friend complained to me that he (John Baptist) booked the hotel as a place for rest and showering as his school had a graduation ceremony just over at Central world. The management did not allow 2 other teachers to go up for showering even when it was during day time! And J.B said that he should have booked Intercontinental instead as he didn't have that problem the last time there! It's not really value for money unless it is necessary to stay in that area. Other smaller hotels near BTS stations are sometimes 50% cheaper!
Restaurant Tip : The chicken rice stall at the Pratunam junction serves excellant Chicken rice at 30 Bht per plate!
Just walk up the road towards Pratunam area on the same side until U reach the junction. You will see the prominent chicken stall as its extremely crowded. Definately worth a try!
The nearby Platinum Mall is excellent for cheap shopping, and the food court upstairs serves a huge variety of food!

location,personel and food pool has to be open at nights the arnoma hotel is in the heart of siam square very near to shopping malls.very good location if you are willing to shop.the hotel has pool good food and the hotel personel is very nice.the rooms are big and free water cofee and tea is very nice to have in your room.we enjoyed to stay there.
Shopping Tip : very close to shoping centers you can walk at least 6 malls.

Very knowledgeable and super friendly hotel staff.
Very good location! Near Major shopping as well as budget shopping centres
Very difficult to get in and out during peak hours like 8 to 10am and 5 to 7pm The location of the Hotel is excellent for those who like both shopping for quality branded goods as well as for 'cheap' fashionable buys.
Very safe to walk around this part of town.
Lots of local hawker food to the right of the hotel and close to a very efficient money-changer.
Very good for conferences where most will only have restricted time to enjoy Bangkok.
Shopping Tip : Best of all worlds, quality branded goods/fashion as well as local, cheap and funky stuff and good souvenirs as well as clean massage places

Convenient Location , Helpful Courteous Staff Helpful and courteous staff My wife & I had a 3 night stay at the Arnoma Hotel from 17/09/09-20/09/09 through internet booking. The stay throughout was fine except that we were surprise that breakfast was not included unlike our last trip that we book thro a travel agency whereby it's inclusive, I believe that is why booking thro the internet is cheaper than going thro the travel agency because at the end of the day we paid for it. I think it will be more attractive if breakfast is inclusive. What impresses us was the good and courteous service that the hotel staff has provided us and as for the decor in the room I should say it should be improve a little.

Walking distance to all major shopping cnetres and restaurants. Although is an older hotel but still quite well kept. Some of the lights bulbs in the room are not working. When we check in, they upgraded our room (booked for 3 person) from standard to deluxe without charging extra because we have a 14 years old son stayed in the same room, and they said it might be too small for the 3 of us. And on my birthday, a special birthday cake and 2 beautiful basket of flowers were delivered to our room! Very thoughtful and we really appreciated, Arnoma Hotel in Bangkok will be my first choice whenever we visit Bangkok!
