Asia Don Muang Hotel, Bangkok

The hotel is situated well north of the main city centre and access is along a main motorway system. to get to the hotel you must drive miles past and make a U turn. the check in was courteous and proffessional and the bell boy helped me to move to a non smoking room after I received a smoking room. I was only there one night and the stay met my basic need without leaving a lasting impression.

I always stay here when I have to make short trips to nearby provinces in the Central or North-east region. The hotel has an efficient and friendly team of staff. Great workout room and swimming pool. All the rooms I have stayed in so far have a great view of a nearby golf course. You get great internet connection in the room but they charge 550B (US$16) per day for it. The breakfast spread is good and the food is satisfactory. If you like IT stuff, there's a shopping center that sells lots of IT gadgets right by it. There's also a ton ofi restaurants around the hotel. But, t is quite a distance from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport and downtown. Overall, value for money.

This is the 5th time I stay in this hotel. I choose it because it is close to my client office. I still suggest the hotel provide free wi-fi service to all the hotel guest because most of the hotel guest is business traveller. Besides that, the TV channel is limited. Not much choice. Mostly are Thai Channel.
