This hotel is a very good option if you just spend a few days in Bangkok due to its location nearby shopping areas. Good both for families and couples. Hotel breakfast was pretty good. Close to skytrain.

I recommend this hotel to everyone, first time travellers and also seasoned returning visitors to Bangkok. I have been to this wonderful city many times, and stayed in Asia Hotel twice. By far, it is one of the best hotel I have ever been to.
Restaurant Tip : Blue Elephant serves up the best Thai cuisine in town. It is a bit pricy, but worth the experience. It is located in a beautiful old building just next to the Surasak BTS station.

The location of this hotel was perfect, skytrain on 2nd floor. Skaytrain 1 station or walk 10-15 minutes and you are in MBK shopping center. Quite close to Pantip Plaza, 10 minutes with tuk-tuk or walk 20 minutes. Okay breakfast buffet, and dinner buffet every night for 400 bath (8 euros). Own taxi booking desk. Two swimming pools. Nice big room with everything you need.

Next to BTS. Brazillian BBQ is the best value in town. Dirty, the staff does not care, will accuse you of stealing from the mini bar. Refrigerator does not work. Old hotel. Gym condition is poor. Smells in the hotel.
Shower head is low. They add two twins and call it a queen. I will never stay here ever again. Only if you're hard up for money and want to stay at a nasty hotel next to the BTS then stay your lazy butt at this hotel. Otherwise add 20 bucks and stay someplace much nicer!

This is a perfect hotel to stay at if you have a few days planned in Bangkok at the end of your holiday stay in Thailand. Very comfortable and nice standard and close to good shopping such as MBK. It connects directly to skytrain for fast and cheap transportation. Staff is really helpful and there´s a pretty good breakfast buffet so you can load up before hectic days!
Nightlife Tip : There's a pretty cool bar just across the street with a van remade into a bar.

Location of the hotel is near to the shopping areas and linked with a BTS station Old hotel with the room having a feel of mouldiness. Too crowded with its many rooms and also the evening with people attending the show My family was travelling with a toddler so picked this hotel for its location (since we did most of the shopping around Siam Square/Siam Paragon area). It's linkage with the BTS station means that it is still possible to move around on rainy days / hot days etc
Generally good value for money and hotel seems to be packed with tour groups so expect some waiting time for check-in/check-out.
