quite old,no kettle and you need to pay to order water. this is the second time i stayed in asia hotel.I still think is worth it to stay over there.The place is very convenient to go to shopping areas like siams,patunam etc..Train station just connect through the hotel.The service of all the staffs is friendly and nice.There is also shops in the hotels that you can do some shopping there.I don't mind to stay there again for my next trip to bangkok.

Location is very good, it is connected to the sky train and easy to go to any part of Bangkok. I understand the regulation is regulation regarding check-out time. However, it would be very much appreciated if there is some frexibility
regarding check out time with reasonable price It looks a bit shabby looking hotel but location is very good. There is old Bangkok(I think) near the hotel. It feels I am at home.

The room was really really good and spacious! neither too big nor to small for comfort. It had all the facilities and amenities i needed. Firnedly and helpful staff, great breakfast, SUPERB LOCATION! I stayed 4 nights at Asia Hotel, and i must say it's the best in terms of location! It is a mere 10 minutes away from SIam Centre and MBK mall. GReat place if you're in Bangkok to shop.
Moreover, the staff was very very friendly and helpful. I am pretty impress with the hospitality extended.
As for the rooms, it was just right in terms of size (too big would have been creepy, and too small would be uncomfortable). The room was clean as well, and a great place to come back to after the entire day out.
As for the breakfast included, the food and service was good.
Asia hotel would definitely be my best choice when i go back to Bangkok for a visit.
Shopping Tip : everything's great there.

Great people, Great location, sky train, central to all areas, Everyone was eager to help and nothing was too hard, Pan Tip plaza up over the walkway and away you go, opposite direction MBK centre, you may need all day for this. Central to most areas and easy to use as a base. I did not appreciate the mistrust over the lack of TEA BAGS. We requested by phone that we required tea bags as they were not replaced accordingly by the staff. After being questioned over the use of said TEA BAGS a staff member came to the room looked at the area where the tea bags were housed realised that there was (none), retreated and returned with (3) tea bags.
This should not have occured, if it was higlighted that the bags were missing they should have been replaced with no third degree. For the money that we paid to stay over the week, (3) tea bags should not have surfaced as a problem.
Our firt experience with the staff was late in the evening, there was some slight confusion while checking in however this was overcome and away we went. We were escorted to our room, nice touch, and advised by the staff of the water facility, one for drinking and one for all other uses. Security staff were very friendly and eager to assist at all times, well done! breakfast and dining facilities were first class with an abundance of food and different selections.
An area that should be visited while staying at the Asia is the the Brazillian reataurant with all you can eat, we tried our best however we were unable to compliment the entire offering and refused only one serving.
Mind you we did leave sufficient space for the ice cream and deep fried banana, also we found the Calypso cabaret very entertaining and in all had a very enjoyable stay.
Restaurant Tip : Find time to go to the Brazillian room for tea it is well worth the effort, you will be well looked after and the food is fantastic, from here proceed down stairs to the Calypso cabaret enjoy.

Very convient to Sky Train, Siam Center and MBK. Very clean, good amenities, very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet. Getting a little old and needs some rennovation in some of the rooms. I like the Asia hotel because it is not very expensive for a four star hotel in down town Bangkok. Itis very convenient to most shopping areas and can take Sky Train to most areas of Bangkok. The rooms are large and very well appointed. I like to shop at MBK and Asia hotel is within walking distance to it. Also close to Siam Center. It is easy to get to from either Airport by express way. I have stayed at the Asia hotel five times now and would go back. My wife and I are very comfortable there.

Very easy access to the sky-train We like this hotel, not for the standards (which is only ok) but for the location and that it has it's own exit directly to the sky-train, wich is only like one to two stops away from the mayor shopping centers. The breakfast is good but the food prices for lunch or dinner are kind of expensive. But overall it's a good hotel.

The Asia Hotel is a reliable hotel with 2 pools and clean rooms. Hotel staff were very nice and friendly.It's close to MBK - so it's a great location for shopping. It's next to the Skyrail. The decor of the rooms is a little dated. The taxis that are organised for you at the front of the hotel will charge you double. You are better off leaving the hotel and hailing a taxi off the main road. This is the second time I have stayed at the Asia Hotel. I find the staff to be helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and there is a substantial buffet. The two pools are a great way to cool off at the end of a big day of shopping. If you are in Bangkok to focus on shopping this is a good location for you to base yourself as you are in walking distance to MBK and you can easily jump on the Skyrail.

It was good with convenience to pour into the hotel without getting wet in the rain from the station of BTS. A doorman is a bad person It is so, but I demand a large amount of money when I order the taxi of the return from a doorman, and hotel of any place is suitable.
And the Asian hotel was so, too.
The location of the hotel which I thought whether it was quality that I did not take care of was good.
It was マアマア for the amount of money of the room.

Very good location Breakfast isnt of the highest quality I had stayed in Asia Hotel for a period of 4 nights together with gf. The best part of the hotel is the excellent location which is near to the major shopping areas in Bangkok namely, MBK, Platinum, Siam Square just to name a few. They are all within walking distance and spare me the trouble pof having to take taxi. Rooms was also nice and spacious. In general, the staff are also polite. Would defintely stay in this hotel again.

Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Proximity to the Skyway is great. Rooms are clean and neatly kept.Rates are reasonable. Restaurants are good and have reasonable prices. Buffet breakfasts are excellent. Hotel taxi service charges outrageous prices - getting an honest driver of a metered taxi is not easy there. Too many "vultures" hanging around ready to rip off the tourists I have stayed at the Asia Hotel on many occasions and have always been pleased with the service,the rooms, the location of the hotel, and the general atmosphere of the place. Booking through Agoda assures me not only of a fair price but also if any problems arise, they can be solved efficiently and satisfactorly.

Asia Hotel is one of the numerous average 3-stars in the area. What sets it apart is the dedicated ramp to the skytrain station at Ratchathewi. At the end of a long day I find it does make a difference. Very friendly staff, especially doormen. Hot water in the shower was hard to control. Also strangely the air conditioning was impossible to turn off. I was freezing in the middle of the night but couldn't get it to stop blowing frigid air! The hotel has a dedicated BTS skytrain ramp to Rachathewi (sp) station, which is the one feature that sets it apart from other 3-star, similarly priced hotels. The room itself is ok, the outdoor pool is very small and strangely shallow, only about 1 meter tall. However, I didn't go to the indoor pool so perhaps that's much better.
Cable tv channels include BBC news, french, german and australian channels, and one movie channel.
Hotel Feature Tip : The lobby cafe has a pretty good and very friendly Elvis impersonator, who does a pretty good job! I have also heard the Cabaret show is good but didn't experience it myself.

We stayed at Asia Hotel. Great location. 500 m from MBK and Siam shopping center and walking distance from most shopping centers. The Sky train BTS stop at the hotel. very convenient at that trafic jamed city. Service is good. Do not use the Taxi service at the hotel. Their prices are much higher then the one at the street.
