The location is very strategic. One big plus point is the BTS station which is assesible through the hotel second floor. The hotel is a bit old.We waited for a long time to check in The location of the hotel is very strategic.The BTS station is accessible thru the hotel second floor which is very convenient.Siam Paragon is only one station and Erawan Shrine two stations away.Platinum Fashion Mall and Pandit Shopping Mall is within fifteen minutes walk .Breakfast buffet has a wide spread.
Shopping Tip : Platinum Fashion Mall and Pandit Shopping Mall is just 15 minutes walk away. The prices of clothing are very reasonable.

not nice at all, you can find a lot of hotel's around ' and much better and chiper,

Connection to Sky train.
Good breakfast. The location of the hotel is very good. The BTS station is accessible from the second floor, which is very convenient and this will be the only reason why I will stay there again. Few stations away you can reach most of the popular shopping malls. However the rooms are little dull and not the best. Breakfast buffet has a wide spread but again it’s not the best.

Direct access to the BTS skytrain. Great location if you like shopping. 5 minutes walk to MBK, 15 minutes walk to Pantip Plaza
and Platinum. An old hotel which is under renovating, it smells of paint.
Staff at the reception was not very helpful. No WiFI in rooms. The location of the hotel is great! Easy with the BTS on the second floor! The breakfast buffet is OK. The corridor smelled of paint very strong, the rooms smelled very bad. As a family with teenagers and computors but no WIFI it was really bad! It was very expensive to use internet in the lobby. Good with two different pools! The area around Asia hotel is good if you walk on the side streets you can find some nice cheap restaurants!
Restaurant Tip : Take a walk on the sidestreets and find some nice cheap thai restaurants.

1. Very welcoming ambience of lobby
2. No need to say easy accessibility to MBK by sky train.
3. Friendly and approachable staff all the way to the lift attendant.
4. Clean room 1. No hot drinking water provided.
2. Have to pay 42 bahts for a litre of hot drinking water.
3. Accompanying small children have to pay for breakfast. The moment I stepped into the lobby of Asia hotel after a transfer of 2 day stay at a hotel at pratunam. I was tantalised by the grand ambience of the lobby. I was thinking to myself I have made the right choice to transfer my stay to Asia Hotel after my 2 days at bangkok. I was even amazed by the services of all level staffs at the hotel especially the lift attendant who provided us with so many informations on where to go and get the best bargain. We were also very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and toilet especially the bathtub. However we were disappointed that such standard hotel does not provided hot drinking water boiler and we were shocked to find that we had to pay for a flask of hot water. As we have two small accompanying boys with us, the hot water is a necessity for making milk. Lastly we would appreciate if they could waive the fee for breakfast for my two small boys as frankly they do not eat much and it is not ossible we throw them in the room while we adult go for breakfast.
Shopping Tip : Take the sky train to MBK. Avoid taxi.

hotel very old and smelly Not recommended for family stay as it is not family friendly.Four star hotel but 1 star service!!Request for hot water but the recept say one flask cost 200 bhat...!!corridor along the room smell bad

Skytrain is right at the hotel 2nd flr. very old hotel room...hot water need money to order not free...corridor smells of paint. Recently stay in this old hotel. Never expected the hotel to be so old and smelly. breadfast limited variety and throughtout my stay for 6 days everyday breadfast is the same. the ' Ah Gua" show in the hotel cost more than outside. My kids need hot water to make milk but to my surprise they want 200 baht for one flask of hot water...

Close to skytrain station,had lift facilities, good menu selection for breakfast. musty smelling room, old peeling walls. The overall experience at the Asia Hotel was average. There were advantages and disadvantages with our stay. The advantages were that we were close to the sky train and only a 10 minute walk to either MBK or Siam Discovery shops. The disadvantages were the room smelled musty and was a bit depressing to stay in. The concierge service was good, with them taking our bags to our room. They had a good selection with their breakfast buffet menu(an american buffet style breakfast menu).

After discussing the terrible rooms we got with the night manger , they replaced our rooms for good once as it should be in advance Most of rooms need renovetion....
open windows.... most of them block.... We stay at Asia Bankok every year for the last 15 years.
Every year with another friends \ groups that join us to our Thailand vacation.
We found that Asia gives us the most we need.
This time the front desk booked us to the worst rooms jotel can find .
I think that the Asia managment need to double check their front desk staff - you can never get real and logicak answers.
The only way is to ask for the shift manager.

close to mbk and all major shopping bad customer service, whole hotel smelt of old smoke We were 3 people staying in 1 room, it took housekeeping 10 hours to supply us with our 3rd bed (11pm at night). When i went to breakfast the next morning I was told I had to wait because there was no tables but the usher was letting everyone else in, I had to force my way to get breakfast. The bell boys always asked where i was going and if they thought i would be out for a while they told me the manager needed to know our room number??
I checked out after the first night and lost money as i had paid for 4 nights. I will never recomend this hotel to anyone.

The Asia Hotel is a very good budget choice for a stay in Bangkok. The rooms, facilities and breakfast are good, but the location makes it a great choice particularly for first time visitors.
The Skytrain (BTS) stops right outside the hotel and exits to the Asia Hotel are shown in the station. This proximity gives a visitor the opportunity to make simple connections by way of the skytrain and the subway.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can reach the great Weekend Market simply by boarding the Skytrain at the hotel andf going to the last stop (MoChit) about a ten minute ride.

convenience of location to BTS and major shopping area, reasonable rates for room size, very good breakfast buffet, freindly staff plumbing in newly renovated rooms defective We have lived in Bangkok for 5 years and during that time, we have checked out a lot of hotels. We have made Asia Hotel our favorite! If you're a shopaholic, you'll find Asia Hotel most convenient, it being one stop away from a major shopping area and with loads of shopping bags at the end of the day, just hop on back on the train and easily enter the hotel through the bridgeway that connects it to the BTS station.

The service of Agodais very efficient and good. The service of Asia Hotel is quite good. The quality of food in the Chinese restaurant at Asia Hotel is very poor and it is expensive.

Asia Hotel was placed at convinient area which 2nd floors of Hotel direct linked to Sky Train.
I felt very glad as could take train easily. I would like suggest that Asia Hotel can provide drinking water in bottle water completed with pairs of cup for each rooms instead in Bathroom I and friend was stayed at Asia Hotel for 3D2N, we was sastified with yours service provided in counter of information also receptionist. Daily breakfast also very suitable for us as got a lot of choose of menu.

Fantastic Location!!!!!!!!!! Breakfast is good!!! No WiFi in room and expensive in lobby!! Also there is always something wrong the bathroom even when they fix it . Asia hotel is a good hotel to stay in if you are in bangkok for shopping.
its Location is very good the 2nd floor takes you directly to the sky train station and the shopping moles are 10 mins walk (MBK , Siam paragon , discovery)
the breakfast is awesome.
We booked the superior room and the king bed was actually two beds joined together....that really was not comfortable.
