Lovely hotel and service with a smile

the hotel location is great, only about 10 mins walk to mbk and the hotel is link to bts which is very convenient. we took the bts to the weekend market. infact this time round we did not take any taxi or tutu except to and from airport while staying here in this hotel. definitely we will stay here again when we go back to bangkok which is our yearly affair meaning every luna new year we will go to bangkok for holiday and shopping.
Travel tip:
I fully recommend anyone to stay here at this hotel as is very convenient in term of locations and also the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel in a prime location

The hotel is located in a prime piece of real estate which gives immediate access to a Skytrain station; canal access less than 5 minutes away and a 10 minute walk away from a key shopping area in Bangkok.
The bedroom is of a good size and the hotel staff are really professional and helpful. The Chinese Restaurant on level 3 is recommended and the TV Show in the Basement is worth a visit.

it was a wonderful stay at the hotel cause the location is just very convenient. i appreciate the extra given to us, the free bts ticket for 1 day for 2 persons and the complimentary fruits. staff are most friendly. i am very happy with my stay there.

The location of the hotel is very good. The lobby is directly connected to a sky train station and mbk is just a 5 min walk away. Staff was very friendly and the room was nice and clean. Breakfast was not icluded in our booking and it was very expensive to eat breakfast at the hotel.

The location of this hotel is good because we can walk and get the sky train go to shopping center or anywhere as well. So it easy quite easy for our trip.

Stayed a dozen times before but never again

Upon checking out at 5am the staff claimed we drank two beers from the mini-bar. We didn't so we spent the next half hour arguing about it with the manager. He claimed his system is 100% accurate and we probably took the beers outside and drank them. In the end he wouldn't give any of our 2000 baht deposit back until I singed for them. Seeing as we had to catch a flight I had to back down. They robbed us while calling us liars and thieves. It was a sad ending to our trip.
The gym staff was a bit rude too. I've been coming to the Asia for over 10 years. I used to really like the place, now I'll never go back.

Even more convenient now

Asia Hotel Bangkok is a mid-range business hotel. Its key selling point for me has always been that it is next to a sky train station and with the new airport link train, this is more of a selling point, as it is now approximately 40-45 minutes by train/sky train to the hotel.
The hotel rooms have also had a bit of an improvement with a redecoration and new televisions installed.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Use the airport express and sky train to get to the hotel - much cheaper and quicker than a taxi.

my friends and i chose this hotel primarily due to its great location. malls such as mbk and platinum are within walking distance, which is very convenient to make multiple trips back to the hotel to set down our purchases! connected directly via a sheltered walkway to a bts station, it also makes taking the train a very convenient transportation option. rooms are generally decent and reasonably priced.
