Great hotel for a great price

We stayed here on 2 separate occasions during 1 month and enjoyed it both times. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included in our stay and it had quite a decent selection. We would stay here again for sure. Close to MBK and other big malls too - about an 8 min. walk.
The only negatives were a slow check in/check out process and the pricey internet wifi. They really should include it free in the lobby or preferably the rooms.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
On the side street beside the hotel there is a cheap and decent internet cafe with wifi at just 40 baht per hour. Much better than the outrageous fee the hotel was asking.

I am a regular at this Hotel due to its' strategic location to the places i frequent. The BTS is linked to the Hotel and from the station one can link to many places around Bangkok in search of food and shopping. Taking the rail to the Hotel from the International Airport is also a breeze. Other than not being caught up in traffic jam if you use the rail from the Airport the cost is very economical too. Its approximately 60Bahts from Airport to the Hotel.
There is only one request i have that i hope the Hotel Management would look into. That is , the buffet breakfast menu. I can literally imagine what i am going to expect for the next morning eveytime i come to this Hotel. And this has been happening for the past few years.

Nice stay and convenient . Walking distance to MBK and other major shopping centre in town. At night also walking distance to night spot like Hardrock cafe. The food at the road side outside the hotel is good and cheap.

been staying at this hotel fro many years. it have a nice location. bts, 7-11, massage centre and food stalls are just next to the hotel. the hotel is also walking distance to mbk and patunam. the food stalls along the streets are very nice but u must dare to eat there to find out. very nice place.

The best thing about Asia Hotel Bangkok is its location. It is a 10 minute walk to MBK, 15 minute walk to Siam Paragon, 20 minute walk to Platinum and best of all, it is connected to the BTS Skytrain via a linkbridge. The best way to get around Bangkok is by helicopter. But if you can't afford it, then the BTS Skytrain is the next best thing. I normally take the Skytrain to somewhere near my destination and from the station, take a taxi to the doorstep. It beats sitting in the taxi going through its famous traffic jams!
The next best thing about Asia Hotel Bangkok is the price. Personally, I feel that it is excellent value for money and with that being said, please keep your expectations to the price range. Everytime I stay here, I am always contented with the service, room amenities, comfort and cleaniness. Do not expect 5-Star standards and you will be very happy with your stay. The only thing I can really fault is that it can sometimes get really crowded in the coffee house during breakfast. So try to go early if you have an appointment and you will not get frustrated.
Other than location and price, the hotel has a coffee house, bistro, bakery, chinese restaurant, vietnamese restaurant and a brazilian restaurant. It also has 2 swimming pools and a gym, so don't forget to bring your swimming and workout stuff!
Hotel Feature Tip:
I always take the BTS Skytrain to somewhere near my destination and hop into a cab after that. It saves time and beats sitting in a taxi stuck in a jam.
