near to siam discovery,mbk and siam paragon

only one day,so it ok.use bts to chacuchack.we goes to siam paragon for lunch at fuji,no good food and walk to mbk shopping and dinner at chinese restaurant.ans also have ice cream at swenson.have a nice day before back to hotel.

great location! that's about the only reason to stay there besides the decent inclusive breakfast. a bit overpriced for the area though. it is right at the ratchathewi bts sky train stop. if your are looking for convenience and central location, this is your place.

after alighting at rachathewi station, had to drag my luggage down the stairs which are connected to the hotel. and when leaving the hotel, had to drag (the even heavier) luggage up the stairs in order to take the train. this is the only downside. location is good. 10mins walk to pratunam area, has a naraya outlet at hotel lobby, 1 station away from siam and 7 stations away for chatuchak.
Restaurant Tip:
there's a jap restaurant right opp the road frm hotel side exit. came across it randomly and saw that it was fully packed. waited a good 20 mins for a single bar counter seat. sushi was really good, with really big portion! salmon roll is a must try. approx 250baht. enough to make a meal for a lady.
opp asia hotel, after exiting from skytrain station, there's a drink cart that sells amazing iced green tea latte. only for 20baht. cart is owned by a lady. havent been able to find the same drink elsewhere.

the hotel is located just at the doorstep of a sky train station, and 1 sdtop away from siam paragon, which is heart of the shopping belt of bkk. what i love most about the hotel is the pool and the gym. the gym is so well-equipped and it was good to work out after a day of shopping. there are also nice eateries and roadside stalls outside the hotel, great for supper!!

Hotel was clean and friendly in terms of the link bridge to the BTS. However, facilities and overall hotel was dated and tired. The staff were also confused at breakfast time. Wouldnt go back for a second stay unless the revamp the place and rooms.

we stayed for 7 nights in dec 2012. satisfied with room facilities, cleanliness and its size. frankly for a 46 yr old hotel, you cannot expect modern and stylish furnishings. but room missing water kettle and coffee cups. breakfast ok, but you get bored with the same food after few days. would have preferred bacon and baked beans in the menu. receptionist and most staff are quite friendly to us, but restaurant staff need to be slightly more friendly.
pools are great. but water at 5th floor very cold. love the jacuzzi. all facilities provided are ok and clean.
location is the best selling point of this hotel. bts access is very convenient.
Hotel Feature Tip:
please make sure you check all facilities as listed in a paper on the table are actually there in the room. we saw some commotion between the staff and some ladies about missing things in the room.

We stay Superior and Premier room. Both are good. For Superior is very good price included Breakfast. For Premier room is much better because the room is bigger and also they have coffee and tea for room services. Both of them have Fruit basket for us every day and fresh and very nice. We will be back again.
