Nice hotel ith friendly staff
Nice room with the suit room area. Nice staff whom we found at checkin counter. Free shuttle bus to sukhumvit road.
8.7
the location is rather far from the main road, sukhumvit road, but the hotel provides free shuttle bus whenever ou want. there are some construction sight around hotel which makes the perspective not so nice. but overll it is a good one , nice room with neccessary equipment in bathroom and small kitchen corner. good bathroom. the location is not far from bts ploenchit. so tat wecan use bts for traveling to any shopping mall in short time.

Great rooms with mediocre facilities and staff
Rooms are really spacious with a lot of closet space, big refrigerator, stove tops. Beds are very comfortable. Location is decent.
7.7
Location: Aspen Suites is off a far-end side street of the main road, Sukhumvit. It's about a 7 minute walk from Sukhumvit, or the hotel provides a free-of-charge tuk-tuk to and from the main road. Aspen is located very near Nana Plaza, but you don't get any of the heavy traffic, which is nice.
Rooms: Very nice and spacious with a lot of closet space, a large refrigerator, and comfortable beds. The internet in the rooms is also the fastest I've used in any hotel in Thailand. (Note to hotel: A window in 503 needs repair. The glass is broken in the corner and allows a lot of highway noise through.)
Staff: Front desk staff are nice and speak decent English. My one complaint would be booking events through the front desk. I went to Lumpinee Stadium to watch Muay Thai and asked what the ticket prices would be when I got there. The staff consistently urged me to purchase ringside tickets from the hotel for 2,000 baht. After repeatedly telling them that I did not want to sit ringside with the other foreigners, they went as far as to tell me that I must pay 2,000 baht as "farang must sit by ringside." I said no thank you, arranged my own transportation to the stadium, and purchased my tickets there for 1,400 baht. I expected a little more helpfulness from the hotel I paid to stay at- instead I got a scam.
Breakfast: It's fine. There are a few different options every day, but it's nothing special by any means.
Facilities: Pool is small; gym is small, but has what you need; elevator very small (3 people comfortably) and slow.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Shortcut to Nana: If you want to visit Nana Plaza on Soi 4, walk down the road until you see Annie's Massage and turn right. The road in front of you will be Soi 4. I imagine you'll be able to find it from there.

Decent hotel for the price
Low cost, clean bed, kitchenette
6.7
My wife and I normally pay double the price to stay in Bangkok but figured that we would try a cheaper alternative this time around. The Aspen Suites Hotel was clean and in a convenient location being so close to the skytrain. The fact that the room came with a kitchenette was also great since we were able to go to the grocery store and save some money. For the most part the staff was very helpful (see "Cons" below).
Cons: The internet is very slow and unreliable. The breakfast is also nothing to get excited over, though it is included.
Overall, I'm not sure that we would stay at the Aspen suites again. We would rather pay a bit more money but get a better breakfast and faster internet.

it was clean and ok.
stuff was friendly.
but, the female receptionist doesn't really give a care or willing to help - she didn't even bother to explain or apologize about her mistake to give us gloomy dark room even we specifically required for the sunny bright room cuz of my mom's health issue.
especially, she gave us ridiculous excuses which wasn't true.
(the room my mom and i saw on our next door was sunny and the cleaning lady said it is available now for the new guest. therefore,we asked for the that #207. and the female receptionist said ' the air conditioner broke down in that room.also, someone asked for 'that specific room', plus, she said our room is very sunny and they are fully booked)
so, my mom and i felt so silly that we asked in a first pl.
the swimming pool is really tiny(far from the picture they post it on the web.) and it is right in front of dinning area. so, it wan't comfortable to use it.
breakfast was ok.
Shopping Tip:
It was very convenient to have a supermarket/ pharmacy /banks at the mall located on the beginning of the Soi 2.
@2nd fl thai restaurant was good.
We mostly took a sky-train. cuz sukhumvit has really terrible traffic jam.
It was also not too far to walk to Asok where the terminal 21 is. (fantastic thai restaurant on 5th fl close to the front and right side escalator from the main gate- the best oyster omelet/green curry so far!!! )
