Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Baan Pra Nond Bed & Breakfast Bangkok Info
Built more than 70 years back, this former house of a Supreme Court Judge, is an excellent place to experience living in Thai colonial architecture. This family run hotel is close to the Surasak sky train station, making it easy for guests to access several places of interest. The business district, night market, and the Sathorn pier are all close to Baan Pra Nond. Guests can hire a boat for a private tour of the city via the river and the canals for a different experience. Despite being constructed almost a century ago, the hotel provides modern luxuries: wireless internet access, air-conditioning, and LCD televisions. Though the hotel only provides breakfast at the restaurant, there is no shortage of places to eat, a ferry or a train ride away, whichever it is that you prefer.

A taste of old Thailand. Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Excellent, personalized service
Nothing really. Some might complain about the proximity of the highway - but hey, place like this just don't exist in Bangkok. Easily ignored.
I was pleasantly surprised to find this old home restored to its previous charm. Updated with modern appointments and amenities it makes for a very comfortable relaxing stay. The hosts are wonderful and charming and went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty!

Friendly service. Spotlessly Clean. Earplugs supplied.
NOISE! Small rooms. Small hotel.Poor Breakfast.Overpriced.
We decided on Baan Pranond as it looked different from the usual anonymous Bangkok Hi Rise Hotel experience. Sorry, but though the owners and staff have clearly worked hard to make this hotel worth it per night, it has one impossible to remedy flaw,. All rooms are 15 feet away from one of the busiest, noisiest intersections in Bangkok.
The balcony room, the most expensive one, affords a view of a concrete expressway flover about 15 feet away.
This means that all you want to do in this hotel is stay in your room - in our case a room that had no minibar and only 6 channels on the tv. This is the first time we'd stayed in a hotel in Thailand with a tv but no Thai channels.
Breakfast was a rather sorry offering of stale bread and lukewarm instant coffee.
This hotel is in fact a guesthouse, and room rates should be halved.

- Very warm and homely feel to the building
- Excellent friendly hosts (Tasma & Jason) and staff
- Close to the sky train station (Surasak) and central city
- Swimming pool
- Free Internet access
- To get to the sky train you have to cross a very busy main road with no pedestrian crossing, but after a few crossings you get the hang of the Thai way of doing things!
We stayed at the Baan Pra Nond on the tail leg of our honeymoon and liked the place so much we plan to stay there next year on our return trip to Bangkok when we will do and see the things we ran out of time to do this year! Tasma and Jason are very nice friendly, welcoming, and helpful hosts. We have stayed in many places in many countries and the Baan Pra Nond rates highly. Tasma and Jason will go the extra mile in making you feel welcomed and are happy to give advice on guidance on what to do and see and how to avoid tourist traps and rip offs!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : - Only two stops away from Patpong market on the sky train (or a 30 minute walk!)
- 15 minute walk to river cruise pier
