great location
friendly receptionists and helpful bellboy.

it is just 5 minutes away from airport link and there is a shortcut door through small alley. location of hotel is right behind baiyoke sky hotel.
friendly receptionists.it is inconvenient in the hotel as there is staircase to take the lift even from the floor we stay at. room has moist smell and quite disappointing. but excellent location as just walking distance can reach indra square/pratunam wholesale market. free shuttle service to siam area.

Small compact hotel in the right location
Its location in shopping heaven Pratunam, Bangkok

Don't expect fancy stuff in this small compact hotel. LCD TV is rather small (19"). If what you need is a clean room and you pretty much away for shopping at Pratunam, BKK then this hotel is for you.

- this hotel is near to platinum and other shopping mal.
- convenient store is everywhere
- easy to find foods
- not so near to bts sky train or mrt, but easy to find taxi, tuk tuk
- free shuttle to mbk, siam shopping center and bts sky train
- room is big
- breakfast is ok
- meal in this hotel is cheap
- hotel staff is very friendly
- suit for family and women who like shopping

Clean rooms with a great location, posh interior
5 mins walk from Ratchaprarop Stn, walking distance to shopping paradise, next to morning and night bazaar.

The rooms look exactly like how they displayed it in the photos. Toilets are clean, and the entire room was in good working condition. I liked how we were able to leave our luggage in their care when we reached way earlier then check-in time. Very convenient location due to proximity with airport link stn. The hotel is just next to the tallest baiyoke tower so just head towards it if you want to find your way back.
Travel tip:
For shopaholics you could consider waking up early for their morning market which kicks of punctually at 5am, till 9am. Lovely apparels for the ladies. Their "wholesale" term usually refers to 3 pieces and above.

Great location
Near wholesale market and shopping area

No free wi-fi and the price rate is slightly expensive for per hour. Would appreciate if the wi-fi is free. Quite noisy during the day due to the train railway is just located behind the hotel. The hotel staffs were helpful and can speak english. 1 very disappointing thing happened was the laundary service. My jeans were return later then the stated timing. And in the end all my programs were delayed.

second visit to this hotel. can seriously see the difference between the rooms you get when u pay the actual price & the hot deals price. got a very corner room. doesn't feel comfortable. dark area. smoking area plus there are ants all over. this time round the room cleaner doesn't really do a good job.
the difference in their cleaning somehow reflect on whether you pay them the tips or not.
felt better when i visit the previous round when we paid for the actual price rates. at least we get to choose if we want smoking or non smoking level.
Shopping Tip:
very convenient as its very near pratunam market. Not far from platinum mall too. a 8mins walk to central world from platinum. another 15mins walk to siam.

Decent hotel but leaves much to be desired

I booked Baiyoke Boutique as it was cheaper than Baiyoke Sky. Having 2 others on a budget trip, I did not really have a choice. For a budget trip, it was a nice hotel with a good location to shopping.
Location:
The hotel is located in a back alley near the airport link station. One would be surprised to find a hotel in such a run down alley.
Building:
The pictures of the hotel must have been taken after renovation. The real thing looks more run down with 15yrs of use. Elevators are located in between floors, so there flights of stairs to climb just getting to and fro. Guests with heavy luggage bewarned.
Room:
The rooms are pretty big for a 2 bedroom and they managed to squeeze 3 beds for us comfortably in the room. Bathroom is pretty big with a bathtub/shower. Water tends to leak out though. Since I do not spend much time in the room, it is decent for sleeping. Beds and pillows are comfortable.
Service:
Reception was a problem as not all the staff have a good command of english. They have trouble communicating between themselves too.
Booked their hotel massage in the morning and found that our slot was double booked. Night shift manager's attitude was quite bad too.
Asked for late checkout at 2pm and same manager said ok but we ended up having calls for us to vacate by 12noon.
Doorman was pushy about recommending his friend's massage salon and us taking cabs to other places.
Conclusion:
Not a bad place to stay on a budget but you have to have patience with the staff. Not all are customer service oriented.

Great location, good and friendly service.

the baiyoke boutique hotel is value for money, comfortable and clean. it is situated near to the humdrum of shoppiing malls like the platinum shopping mall, siam paragon, isetan, central world plaza, pratunam market to name a few, which are all within walking distance. even a trip to yaowarat (chinatown)or the suan lum night market takes about 20-25 minutes by cab.
Shopping Tip:
walking distance to pratunam market and especially the platinum shopping mall - not only countless floors of shopping but a vast variety of great thai food on its 7th floor.
