A great experience with great views
Be sure to dine in the to restaurant with excellent night time views of the city lights
8.3
A stylish hotel with fantastic views from the room. The hotel offers great dinning experiences and exceptional view from the roof top. The rooms are nicely equipped and cleaned daily. The staff are professional and accommodating. The Baiyoke is a very tall building and offers great views and souvenirs can be purchased from the shop on one of the top floors
Hotel Feature Tip:
Be sure to check out the roof top views on the revolving floor. Access by the exterior elevator from which you can see out as you travel up. This is free if you are staying in the hotel

Shopping Tip: Its great for shopaholics, 5 minutes to platinum mall, and you also can go to the 4am market just below the hotel for shopping early in the morning,

Nice View, Clean Rooms
Spacious Room, Nice View, Good Location
7.7
The view from the Beiyoke Observatory Tower is nice. Beiyoke sky is the tallest hotel in Thailand. However, taking lift take some time as there are always many people waiting for lift. Room is very spacious and bed is big.

Great location so-so service
Good location, value for money.
6.7
Room is spacious but furniture is rather old.. Room lights are rather dim for me.. Bright only when all curtains are drawn in the day and all lights on in the day. Spacious toilet with tub and shower room. Amenities are very good as well. As Baiyoke Sky is the tallest building around, there are many tourists who come to visit the hotel. The lifts to the lobby can be quite crowded and have to queue for it during peak hours.
Shopping Tip:
Pratunam Market and Platinum Fashion Mall in the proximity!

pretty nice but cannot find great food around.
anyway, i expect guard at downstair would find me a 'safer' cab. but, ended with a private tour which wanted to bring me to a jewelry shop.
market around the hotel was great.
bangkok would be even better if no cab scams around. overall, enjoy a lot.
Travel tip:
tips, you just need a 5min walk to platinum mall! hotel is tall and easy to spot. won't get lost!
buffet at hotel is so so, but its good to have a try. the view worths it

Average Type Hotel
Within Patunam market, convenient to move around
7.3
the accommodation and breakfast is good, room service is ok with the making up of the bedroom daily in a good standard.
the taxi service outside the hotel is bad which rate is higher and the taxi refuse to run on the meter and instead asking for a fixed price should you wanted to board one. some may claim that the meter is not working.

Tallest building in Bangkok!
7.7
baiyoke is the ideal place to stay if you are looking for hotel with stunning view. the hotel lobby is located on the 18th floor and only 3 min. walk from the closest airport link station.
even though the building may not be as new as its contemporary peers, baiyoke makes it up with excellent services and amenities.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
go up to the roof for dinner with great night view

Good Location but it's a bit old.
Tallest building in bangkok, night market just at it's footstep, walking distance to Pratunam and Platinum.

Well, to be honest. I think Baiyoke Sky is a tad overrated.
I wouldn't go so far to say it is a bad hotel, but I think it is pretty average.
Pros:
The location is pretty decent, within walking distance to Pratunam Market and Platinum mall. A fantastic place to stay for shoppers.
There daily night markets just outside the hotel.
Located near the Airport Link train. (Although the train interval is rather long)
Breakfast with a view. A rather comprehensive breakfast choice with view of the skyline of bangkok. Pretty decent.
Cons:
An aging hotel, and the rooms are not exactly the cleanest I have been to, for a Hotel of such a stature.
Apparently an extremely popular choice for tour groups, hence the waiting time for the lift can be very long. It is also very crowded.
Besides the Airport Rail Link, there are no other nearby public transport alternatives in the area. To find an honest taxi driver, you probably need to head to the main road. Thankfully, there is the hotel shuttle.
Overall, I would say it is a decent hotel, but probably could do with some make over.
