The location of the hotel good for shopping and market, central world shopping complex and pantip computer plaza are within walking distance away. Taxi right infont of the hotel very convenience.

The tallest hotel in Thailand
amazing views, rooms are a little smaller than the picture, but still very comfortable

the hotel is very central to everything in bangkok - mbk, siam ocean world, jj markets and the chutacut markets. great place to stay, resturants have good food with a good view. the elevator system is a bit confusing.

Love the women floors for a lot of space room
i am traveling with my grandchild so i nice to stay somewhere safe

i am so impress with the safty of hotel, with women floors that men can get it and need to have the key card to be able to get in to the hallway , love the big & a lot of space with huge bath room and enjoy the stuff service regarding very busy hotel.

We picked this place because of its location near the Skytrain and its mainly favourable reviews. It's certainly not the cheapest place in Bangkok but then it's cheaper than most of the big hotels in the centre of town. The overall impression is that it's in desperate need of a re-fit. It has all the right components there for a good/ even standout hotel; big rooms with spacious bathrooms, quick lifts, gym, restaurant, skyhigh bar, revolving rooftop platform, golf driving range. The problem is that with each of these assets there's a certain tiredness. For instance, our non-smoking room was nice in size but had evidently been smoked in one too many times, giving you a tickly cough throughout the night. The room needed a deep clean and indeed a more thorough spruce-up to bring it into the 21st century. Indeed, a note for all hoteliers; why the insistence on charging for internet access? The rooftop bar is appalling - very high cost for drinks and not seen a lick of paint seemingly since the film Cocktail was made. On the plus side, the golf driving range is fun and the gym is adequate (if in need of some attention), and the staff are perfectly helpful for such a large place.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Double check that your room has not been used by smokers. Also, make use of the fact that you get free access to the rooftop.

Great location in Pratunam.
Good shopping area with great massage places around the hotel. Walking distance to platinum shopping mall and others.

Great service provided during our stay there even though hotel looks a little old. But rooms are really huge!

very nice place to stay, hotel staff at counter was swift with check-in and out. house keeping was very thorough, even folded my clothes for me, new bathrobes everyday. stayed at level 48 view was fantastic, very near to airport link so making it easy to travel. tallest building very easy to identify if you get lost in vicinity. alot of wholesale centres around so lots of shopping for ladies! carpets very old. will need changing.

it will be great place to stay for family tour. as it is the highest hotel in bangkok, it oversees the whole city as a whole. however, not a breath-taking view. above the hotel, has a revolving observatory area, which non-hotel guest has to pay to go up for it. did not have chance to try the food there.
other than that, it is very near to shopping and market areas. indra square, baiyoke market (day & night), platunam.
Shopping Tip:
Don't bother bargaining too much with the local, they won't budge till you buy in at least 3 pieces.
