Hotel & service abominable

I visited the major cities of the world, but never stayed in a hotel so dirty and disorganized. Rooms old and poorly maintained, dirty and stained carpet, cockroaches near the refrigerator compartment. I paid for use the internet line in room: only 5 minutes a day of free line about the bad service. To forget.
Restaurant Tip:
Menu ridiculous and very very expensive

This was on a higher floor as I booked 2 nights separately . View from anywhere is still awesome but there was no hot water and the check in can take awhile.
Overall ok but location not ideal for me for a regular traveller to bangkok

hotel was kinda old but has great views of the city skyline ... nice restaurants with view but a bit noisy and the observation deck is a must do when at baiyoke
Travel tip:
Lost of street stalls just outside the hotel and not very far from trains ... Beware of taxis who overcharge

The room is Big and spaces even the wash room is as big as a room in a budget inn. the best is i can see the scene from my room through the glass wall. Great view in sunrise, cause the unit i stay face east.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if stay face east remember to wake up early in the morning for the sunrise...

A really high building

We came with great interest in this hotel. But we have been disappointed from the very beginning. The hotel has not been maintained during the last years. Everywhere we had dirty spots on the floor, on the chairs or in the edges. Some staff tried to do its best to make the stay nicer. But in general we have been treated as tourists coming for one or two nights only. We live in Thailand and there are many hotels with more value for money as this one. Sorry but we can not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The only highlight is the view over Bangkok from all rooms and especially from the bar at 83rd floor. But all of these views you can have from other locations in Bangkok as well. There is no need to book this hotel for.

It will be a great hotel if you are going BKK for shopping; otherwise the location is so so only. Not very near to the MRT/BTS station, got to walk about 10 mins and always have to change to another train in order to go around unless you are going to the airport.
Room are spacious but the furniture are quite old.
Few Shopping malls are very nearby the hotel and at night, there will be some stall selling clothes and local food.
Traffic there are quite horrible; may not consider to stay in the same hotel again.

big rooms and bathroom enjoyed stay here on 68th floor with great view of bangkok.good location with markets just outside.room service food was delicous.only enoying part of this hotel was elevators needed two lifts to get down,overall recomend this hotel and was satisfied
