Families with young children Bangladesh, September 06, 2011	great location for shopping nothing to mention 4.3 the hotel was very crowded and the looby and lift area was very busy all the time - the airconditioning system was not running in most of the common areas including lifts and theus was very smelly - also the room was filthy with the bad smell of the carpets n air conditioning system was not cold enough Shopping Tip: this hotel is very close to the shopping markets n thus it was easier to shop around with in walking distance

Couples Indonesia, September 06, 2011	Great Location but old style the location was great 4.3 The hotel has a great location, location in the heart of KL and surround with the shopping malls. The people also welcome, but the room is very small and lil bit stuffy. The room furniure also abit old style and the toilet is not really clean, the lighting also abit dark.

Couples United Kingdom, September 06, 2011	Easy to get to, rooms good for price, Very close to sky train( no need for taxis to/from airport ) and links to the metro system 6.7 we stayed at this hotel 4 nights in total, 3 when we first got to thailand and one before we left, we were upgraded free of charge on our first stay, no reason provided and the room we had was very large , clean and comfy. our second stay of one night we didn't get an upgrade and were in the room we booked, this room was itself very large however the floor it was on didn't seem as safe/secure as in our previous stay. there was a chain lock on the door and the door didn't close properly the first time i shut it so watch out for that! there were also a few cockroaches, even if they were tiny ones, spotted in the bathroom. the bars etc in the hotel are not very nice at all, we walked in an walked straight back out, very shabby, but you are in bangkok so why would you stay in the hotel? overall the rooms are fine, pay a bit more if you can afford it if you are staying a few nights but if its one or two the cheaper rooms will be fine, just be aware of locking your room properly as i think the hotel has theft problems! Travel tip: * Make sure to use the sky train from SKB airport, its about 40 baht and the 2nd from last stop on the line, one stop further along and you can get onto the Bangkok metro where you can buy a day ticket from a teller for 120 baht and travel the whole city * There is a "Family Market" in the lobby, much cheaper option for beer etc than room service/mini bar, there isn't much in terms of bars etc near the hotel so you will have to travel for decent nightlife/drinks/meals * DONT get a taxi from the station to the hotel look for the tallest building right next to the station and its about a 4 minute walk straight down the main road and then the first major right, there are signposts at the station and it is easy to find!

Couples New Zealand, September 05, 2011	Bad location, overcrowded, dirty Terrible staff, dirty, below star quality 2.7 i have stayed in many hotels in bangkok for this price range. this was easily the worst hotel experience i have ever had, anywhere in the world. on arrival there is no one to meet you. my fiancee and i had to drag our suitcases upstairs through 100s of people until we saw a lift and worked out the lobby was on the 18th floor. the lifts were packed, we found out this was the norm. every lift ride you need there is always a wait and you are jammed in with 30 other people. everyone becomes quite aggressive about getting in and out. a nightmare for elderly couplesour greeting at reception was awful, none of the staff even made eye contact or smiled. one girl on reception really did behave like one and i would describe her manner as incredibly rude. our room was not ready on time. the cafe food was bad and staff all looked miserable. when we finally got to our room it wasn't ready, unmade bed and food everywhere. we changed room 3 times. sheets were filthy, towels dirty, floor needed vacuming, the cleanliness of the hotel was ver questionable. the staff we not helpful incliuding the manager. everyones english was appauling and even after a free upgrade i was still upset. best advicedon't book here!!!! Hotel Feature Tip: Stay in a hotel by the river.

Rooms are much Spacier and Excellent Service provided by hotel Good Staff. Location is very good as it s just in the main pratunam or indira market. Near to MBK Mall, Pantip Plaza and various malls.

Couples Singapore, September 05, 2011	At a Good Location But Troublesome Lifts Situated at a location surrounded with good food and shopping area. 9.3 Hotel Room was big and cosy, room services were efficient, however hated the wait for lifts and also the transferring of lift in order to go back or get out of our hotel room. Hotel location is great as all famous shopping area and malls are arguably walking distances. Shopping Tip: Location of hotel is great for people who are going for shopping trip, and staying in Baiyoke Sky Hotel allows people to do some sightseeing at the same time.

There is a superb panorama of the city from rooftop obseravtion deck and room (window is too small. Room is clean and spacious, but a little bit tired.

Couples Singapore, September 04, 2011	Good hotel, with good service the food at 18th floor is good, area is clean and quiet, breakfast buffet is wonderful! 8 we had an upgrade of room as the initial room wasnt very clean, hence we stayed in the superior suite room. Nice view from the room and the bed was not too bad. Their service is good and they service with a smile. The revolving deck is very good and gives a nice view of bkk city. However, the waiting of lifts at the lobby is a bit long.
