Centrally located, comfortable, good view
Good scenery from top level, comfortable room, good location
The room was huge and comfortable and to our liking. However, lifts can get crowded in the afternoon, resulting in long wait.

Poor standards
Nothing i can think about
Hi, i have sent an email with regards to the poor standards of the hotel. I was suppose to stay in Baiyoke Sky from 25-27June, but i checked out one hour after i checked in. While me and my girlfriend are checking in at the reception, we saw a upgrade to a higher floor which was quite cheap, therefore asked the receptionist to do an upgrade for us. She for however reason did not hear us despite me telling her twice, and gave us the normal floor. When we asked her to change, she was rather unhappy about it. When we went to our room, we find the room rather old and the lighting is very dim. There were no bathroom slippers, and the bathroom floor below the sink has a puddle of water. The porter was very polite though, and he said he would ask the housekeeper to bring two pairs of bathroom slippers for us. The next event that happened was shocking. While my girlfriend is preparing to take a bathe, the housekeeper knocked once, and while we did not reply, he took the liberty to open our door and walk right in, luckily my girlfriend was on the other side of the room and the housekeeper could not have a direct view of her. I had to shout a few times for him to leave the room, which was absolutely absurd. I called the duty manager, and explained to him what happened, but he did not seem to understand, therefore i went down to see him. While i was explaining to him about what happened, he nodded his head but he did not understand a single word i said, which is why he even agreed its alright for the housekeeper to enter! Finally, the last straw was the other bespectacled manager, which i presume could be the real deal. He did not seem to care about what happened, and his attitude was terrible for a person working in the service industry. Therefore i said i want to check out, and he was not even apologetic about it, and said ok, that's all he said. So i checked out 1 hour after checking in, and had to book another hotel, imagine that.

Great city hotel, friendly quiet safe panoramic
location, quiet, friendly and safe
I had a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The views are stunning and with a beautiful for relaxing after a hectic city break. Close to all amenities,a winner at a very reasonable price. Clean large spacious rooms with a great view. I felt very safe in this hotel, especially being a single female in a large city hotel. The codde shop served lovely food and were very attentive. It was a bonus to get good quality WiFi there every day free of charge. I would use this hotel again. I was recommened this hotel by a friend and I must say I really enjoyed my 8 days here.

comfortable hotel with great of bangkok city area
located near pratunam wholesale market and platinum mall
great location and near the bangkok airport rail. walking distance to great road side local food and shopping!

Disappointed, very unhappy,poor service

It was really make me feel disappointed and spoil my day,first no Wifi connected but is ok due to I agree to pay extra money for the Wifi.Second, in the early morning I make an enquire regarding buffet reservation,the staff told me the price will be 390BATT for one person and my friend also heard the same price,so we agree to pay and ask the staff to make an booking for the buffet at the evening time,the staff(girl)said the booking already confirm and the total amount can be pay in evening.So we come to the hotel around 6.00PM++with the dress code,but the staff at the evening can't find my booking even my name!!also the staff told me price will be 960++batt for one person and I keep on repeating I already make an booking in the morning,but the staff told me will be around 300++batt, the evening staff just told me NO NO NO,i didn't saw any record from you,do you know the staff name??and just keep on want me provide the staff name!! Hello!!!Miss?do you think i have to keep on remember your staff name who provide wrong information to me??and you all never show the responsibility and concern,very bad experience and for sure I will no recommend my friend going to this hotel anymore!!

Poor staff
Buffet, the counters set up for local tours, the hotel lobby
The hotel really has serious issue. People cannot communicate efficiently. They may charge your credit card a few times by mistake and tell you that some of them have been cancelled without showing any evidence. The receptionists are quite stuck up. The hotel is just close to the airport express railway. It is super far from the local subway. To travel around, one may have to walk all the way to somewhere called Siam. It may take 25 min. There is a shuttle bus to the city as well but it's extremely hot for you to wait for it and sit in it. It will take also 20 to 25 min due to the commonly know fact that traffic jam happens a lot in Bangkok. It's cheap to take a cab but it may take you an hour (still cheap even if it's an hour ride). No internet from the hotel. Even if you pay for it, it is going to be very unstable. There is a cafe that offers WiFi whenever you consumer there. The capacity of connection is, however, 4 people only. In other words, when there are more than 4 customers, the internet will be disconnected intermittently. The capacity was not indicated by the staff. They will tell you only after you have paid for the meal. The username and password are printed on the receipt. The food there sucks. If you need internet, you should order only drinks.

Average quality , overpriced, but great location
Panoramic view, good location, large rooms
The hotel was average, but rooms were comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the location in the center of Bangkok, near to shopping district, and the panoramic platform at the top of the tower.

the view cause its high floors
the staff attitude needs to be trained as well as their quality of food. the money spend must be able to match the quality of it, not just because its a hotel and thus the price.
