Comfort stay in room but poor service and access.
Centrally located, easy to communicate location to cab drivers and rooms are comfortable to stay in.
The hotel is strategically located and easily known to locals as it is one of the landmark in Bangkok. However, the access to the lobby was pretty inconvenient as all public users and guests uses the same lifts. Check-in staff were slow in their process and were not friendly or helpful enough as per its rating of hotel. No wifi access provided for the price. The change of lifts to rooms were too packed to cater to the volume of guests and to restaurants terribly inconvenient. Should manage this area for improvement catered for in-house guests.

comfortable
location for shopping, breakfast choices, room size
I have stayed in this hotel a number of times and will continue to do so. The only drawback is having to take 2 elevators all the time.

Terrible Stay
location and nothing else
Horrendous. The hotel rooms are old, pricier compared to other 4 stars and even 5 stars hotel. It takes me at least 5-10 mins to travel from my room to the ground floor. The hotel is like a marketplace filled with people queuing up for the lifts. The hotel staffs allows taxis to wait at the hotel entrance. The hotel service staffs are unhelpful.

Comfortable, centrally located near shopping area
Central located, near shopping area and lots of street food stalls.
A pleasant and very surprised by the large spaces within the Junior suite. It is about the size of a 4BD room HDB flat.

Pleasant
Tall, nice view and crowded
Was fine and great location. Taxi was too expensive to go from one point to another so sometimes we had to walk which the location is a bit outskirts from the sightseeing area.

Pleasant
Spacious, Breath taking view and crowded
Was ok. Except for the check-in matter, it was taking so long and fussy. Love the hotel but it was too crowded.

Fantastic View, rapidly aging interiors
Location, View
This hotel is a landmark on the bangkok skyline, and it certainly offers great views of the city. Watching the sunset from the rooftop bar is an experience to die for. Everything else though, could do with a makeover. The staff is not particularly friendly, the check-in process is slow, and the furnishings and interiors are aging. There is a slightly damp smell throughout the hotel. It almost feels like the sheer ambition and vision required to build it strained the resources of the owners, and they can't afford to maintain it. The food was poor, the restaurant staff uncertain, and nobody seemed to know what was going on. Having said that, it's great to be able to stay in a hotel that offers such views, at the prices the Baiyoke offers. I'd recommend a nights stay as part of your Bangkok visit, but don't expect the inside to match the outside.
